The bbc knows how to do a show. Holmes is a riveting character and Watson is usually clueless just how it should be. The chemistry is great.

Asus x205t is a great small laptop if you only want to minimum internet activity as it only has 2GB of memory which is not expandable.

I've been searching for a version of Sherlock's first season that would play on a USA player and this does play on a dvd player that handles Blu-Ray but it won't play on other devices. I was not expecting that complication and it is perhaps my fault for not reading the fine print, but I wanted a disc that would play on multiple devices, not be limited to a specific Blu-Ray dvd player. Oh well.

It was recommended by a friend. Great new take on Sherlock Holmes. Individual mysteries intertwined with a continual story.

Good movie-length episodes, with a cliff-hanger ending (that if it weren't to allow the series to continue following Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's characters, could have had a much better conclusion/outcome). The only problem is with the audio. The BBC commercial that starts each disc is okay, but then I had to turn up the volume to almost full capacity to hear the episodes themselves.

This first season is very strong. Such a clever revival of the Sherlock Holmes character. Love the modern touches.

It was addictive to watch this show back to back without commercials. It was very hard not to watch 2 or 3 in a row.

Sherlock's superfast stream-of-consciousness dialogue is a little too blurred together, and comprehension falters.

much better than the other "sherlock holmes" mini series that are out on TV. This one is a keeper.

The stories acting are incredible, but the menus on my Sony Blu-ray player does not show what is selected.
