The Shokz are a great buy! They are comfortable, lightweight and I love that they don’t sit in my ear. The sound quality is amazing, and the battery life is excellent. I got them on Christmas and have only had to charge them once.

The Shokz OpenFit 2+ are incredibly comfortable, no pressure in the ears, and easy to wear for hours without noticing them.
The audio is clear and balanced for open-ear earbuds, especially good for voices and casual music.

Sound is great. They fit over the ear comfortably and even forgetting I have them on. Wish the case had a carry clip. The only issue is when on a call it switches back to my phone, not sure if this would be an issue when I do not have my phone with me and it is only connected to my watch.

I’ve owned multiple open-ear and bone-conduction headphones over the years, including several from Shokz, and the OpenFit 2 is the first open-ear model where the sound quality actually feels competitive with mainstream premium earbuds.
First — comparison within the Shokz lineup: these sound noticeably better than my bone-conduction models. Music has more fullness, better cohesion, clearer highs, and less of that thin or mechanical character bone conduction tends to have. However, there’s an important tradeoff: the microphone is weaker in windy environments. My bone-conduction set with the boom mic still wins for call reliability outdoors. If phone calls in wind are your top priority, go with the bone-conduction version — specifically the one with the boom mic.
If your priority is sound quality plus a built-in mic that performs on par with premium mainstream earbuds from Apple, then this is the one to get.
I’ve tried most open-ear designs on the market and many of them fall into the same traps: hollow sound, shouty mids, rolled-off highs, or overly processed DSP character. Models from Soundcore were heavily recommended to me and ended up being a big disappointment. That’s what pushed me to spend more for the OpenFit 2 — and I’m glad I did.
Compared to the previous OpenFit generation, the OpenFit 2 is clearly improved:
• Better clarity
• Fuller presentation
• More natural cohesion
• Stronger overall mic performance (except in wind vs boom mic models)
I also tested the clip-style open earbuds from other brands and found them distant and rolled off. These don’t have that problem.
For context: the only open or semi-open listening setup I own that beats these is my very expensive wired in-ears from Moon Audio running through a $200+ Bluetooth DAC — which isn’t a fair everyday comparison.
One more practical note: I don’t even count traditional wireless earbuds with ~4-hour battery life as true daily drivers — that limitation alone takes them out of the running for how I work and move through the day.
Bottom line: If you want the best sounding open-ear headphones currently available, this is it. If wind-resistant calling is your top priority, choose Shokz bone conduction with the boom mic instead.

I like these earbuds when I’m not around a lot of noise. The audio is really great. I love the clarity of these. It can be a little hard to hear if you are around a lot of noise so if you need noise canceling earbuds I would not get these. The battery life is good too.

Like the title it’s say. These are the best most comfortable ear buds for all day work. The sound clarity is awesome, battery for days. I charge them on the weekends and it last all week. I forget I have them on. I love how I can pair them with my phone and work laptop at the same time.

A great pair of headphones for active use outside. Whether it is walking or biking to work, they stay in place and deliver incredible sound for not being jammed in your ear. I do not think I will be purchasing in-ear headphones again.

After researching the SHOKZ brand, I decided to purchase this model, and I am not disappointed. I cannot comfortably use traditional earbuds, and bone‑conduction options are not quite loud enough for me, so this product offers an ideal middle ground. The sound quality is excellent, and since I work from home and spend much of my day on the phone, it’s important that callers can hear me clearly—my customers cannot tell the difference when I use this device. Overall, it’s a great product, and I’m very glad I bought it.

The Shokz Openfit 2 Plus are truly packed with great sound, strong bass, excellent call quality, and an overall premium feel.
These earbuds shine if your main goal is staying aware of your surroundings while active—whether you're working out, running outside, or simply using them as your daily drivers at the work or home office. The quality of the materials not only looks good but genuinely feels premium.
The Open-Ear Experience & Personal Caveats
While the sound is top-tier, the unique open-ear design with hooks that sit around your ear is a major factor to consider. If you've never used this style before, it may take some time to adjust to how they feel.
In my personal experience, however, I ultimately had to return them. This was due to two highly individual reasons: I developed an allergy reaction to the silicone material, and I simply couldn't get used to the feel of the ear hook.
The Verdict: If you are comfortable with or seeking an open-ear design, the Openfit 2 Plus offers a phenomenal, high-quality audio experience. Just be mindful of the hook design and material if you have known sensitivities.

Easy to wear. Sound is great and it keeps me in the present by not isolating from the surroundings.

I love these earbuds. I have small ear canals so these are the first that I have had that are on the outside of my ear and are comfortable for all day wear. I only wear one earbud most of the time while listening to audio books, so I have situational awareness. There is enough volume and clarity so I don't have trouble understanding the book. Also, it is easy to turn them off when I need to stop to talk to someone. You also have complete freedom to answer all calls even if you are away from your phone. I have asked callers if they have difficulty understanding me and they say there is no difference between the earbuds or if I'm talking into my phone speaker directly. When the call is complete my book restarts automatically. I chose the black because I wanted them to be inconspicuous as they hide behind my hair. They are light, and they have never fallen out if I bend my head while gardening or doing housework. I repeat again, I love these and would buy them again.
