This is probably my favorite GoPro accessory. Having GoPro attached to the shorty is basically my default configuration. It makes the camera much easier to handle (without this the camera is really too small to handle) and provides a nice little stand for when you want to set the camera down. I don't use the extension feature very much, but it has come in handy a couple times when I wanted to elevate the camera a bit.

Great portable GoPro stand very compact very light

I purchased this Shorty GoPro stand from my GoPro. It was well made and compact. It would make a great alternative to a selfie stick and holds the GoPro for videoing one person. I needed a larger tri-pod stand to I did return the product, but it was very high quality and I would purchase again if I needed something smaller.

Works very well in most enviornments and super compact. I love rhe tripod and extension.

The accessory is practical, a good size because it does not take up space and of excellent quality.

I use my Go Pro for shooting car videos and interiewing shots and I have to say that this is a must have for your first accessory to get. Is great for taking nice and steady shots but also if you need a quick tri-pod you can just unfold the bottom and set it up right there! You do not need to take the Go Pro off or anything else.

Very useful. I use it to hand shoot at my local hockey games. It's well built and easy to carry.

The GoPro shorty changed how I record videos. Previously, my GoPro would be in bad angles but now it stays upright on any surface. It feels high quality and the extension is very useful for getting the right shot. It is great for any level of experience, beginners and even professionals. It is well worth the price, you should see for yourself!

This product has proven to be very useful in different situations. The extension pole has enough travel to help set a good angle on a shot and the tripod feature has been very handy for leaving the camera is set positions. Having the ability to collapse this product into such a small footprint makes it really easy to carry around all-day.

I wanted a handheld device that was not bulky and had several functions. It can extend far enough to take group selfies or a higher point of view while taking video or images. To take an image you will have to use the timer. It can also be used as a small tripod. the device is perfect when traveling since it takes up little space.

well what can you say about a simple, small tripod... I use this shorty mostly at the gym with my GoPro and it works great and is stable... it is also great to carry around as a handheld as well as a selfie stick all in all it is a nice GoPro accessory to have in your bag

Bought this because I didn't want the full length stick. Love that it is small enough to fit in you pocket. And that it easily turns into a tri-pod. A little hard to line up the go pro to the base for the screw to easily slide on and screw on but after awhile you get used to it. Still a good item to buy

I love the Shorty because it's multiple uses (stand, selfie stick, etc...) and the small size makes it easy to store in my backpack. Feels sturdy in my hand. Others have said the mount is a little wobbly, but if tightened enough, I've had no problems with it.

This is like having three items in one. A small tripod, and short handle for film with and a mid length selfie stick or something to get a bit more height with. small so it fits in my case with my other gopro gear. Only knock is its a bit expensive but all gopro labeled items seem to come with a bit of a larger price tag.

This is a handy little device that makes holding the Gopro so much easier. Haven't tried the tripod yet, but it should work well on a solid surface.

This is a great little tripod and extension pole as long as you don't need something more than 18 inches long or so. It's easy to carry around and use for your GoPro camera. High quality makes the price worth it.
