    When you purchase this item you get a plushie plus download code. Which means you are technically getting the game. However that cannot be resold and even if you do not claim the code it's going to be difficult to resell it. Which is kind of annoying when you get a special edition like this. It's not the end of the world, but if this is a motivation for you to purchase this then I would pass. I wanted to use this as trading fodder for other stuff, that's really not going to be terribly successful here. Buyer beware.

    Switch code for the game arrived via email a few minutes after I picked up the item at the store *BUT* once I removed the shrinkwrap on the packaging, the plush inside smelt like a used diaper. Returned it immediately. Fangamer has quite a few different plush+game combos on the shelves so for everyone else's sake, I hope this issue is an isolated incident.

    After returning a in-store purchase because they could not provide a code, I tried again and bought it online, for store pick-up... I had to chat with support and call like 3 times to get the download code... it should have been an automated process, but it was not.

    I never got an email with the game code from best buy, went to the store I picked it up they said I had to do it online. only thing i can do online is return it

    Bought 2 of these and only got 1 code. They print it on your receipt - I assumed it came inside a pamphlet inside the product but that wasn’t advertised.
