I listen to my Ipod music daily. The SE425 earbuds have wonderful, full sound, great clarity and you hear little sounds you can't even hear with other earbuds. I had lost my first pair of Shure's and thought I'd try a cheaper brand, so I ordered Klipsch earbuds in the $80 price range after seeing good reviews. I was so disappointed with the sound and comfort of fit, that I immediately returned them and order the Shure SE425s again. As soon as I put them in my ears I knew they were worth every penny. I think the next model up in price is even more amazing but I cannot afford those right now. The new Shure design is better than older models. They lay flat in your ear, and they have detachable ear wires so if the wires wear out you can just replace the wire and not the whole earbud. I am very happy with my purchase. And Best Buy was amazing to work with during the return and re-order process.

These earphones are the best I have ever had, and I have purchased many before hand. I have purchased all of the Beats line and to be completely honest they are just for show. However, the Shures se425 are for people who really want the most of their earphones. They have a very balanced sound. Clear MIds, Highs, and nice lows. The bass may not be the strongest, but these are high quality earphones. They are not meant to be over whelmed by bass. If you are looking for a pair of ear phones around this range, and want very balanced sound these should be on your list.

Save your money. I sent them back after a week. My skullcandy asym's sound better with more bass than these. Bought them to test out as I thought they should be better given the price. Not really a fan of high screeching earphones.
