Spoilerish review - I don't know that I was fooled ala 6th sense etc or if I was meant to be but either way the perfoirmances and the atmosphere were such that this is a great film. Great cast, great director.... One thing I didn't really pick up on... and that may just have been my being dense was that at the end it may have been a form of suicide as opposed to a slip back into madness.

Love any Leo movie, even though I predicted the ending. Store didn't have that much of selection, as a team member said, Netflix and Amazon Prime, pretty much dominates the movie market now. This movie was overpriced in my opinion ($24.99). Should've went the The Exchange.

The movie is great but the packaging was awful. The unit I received was opened and the case wasn't in the best shape. The disc had some marks on it but it played fine.

A stellar transfer awaits those who indulge. One of Scorsese's best films so far this century. The extras are minimal, but the studio is likely going to wait for anniversary edition of some sort down the road.

The S-View flip cover does exactly what I expected it to do: protect my phone, make it less slippery and has some very nice features. For example, it shows notifications, allows phone answering (swipe right) and activates the camera (swipe left), all without opening the cover. It seems rugged enough, and makes the phone much easier to handle. I like it!

I don't get the whole thrill with Leonardo DiCaprio, probably because I really disliked "Titanic" so much. I'm not a fan of his and generally don't watch many of his movies. However, I heard good word of mouth reviews of "Shutter Island" and am glad I picked this up cheap when I had the opportunity. Pretty good, suspenseful film that is worth the time. I can't say I'll watch this one again, but I'm glad I've seen it.

The film opens in 1954 as World War II veteran and current federal marshal Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his new partner, Chuck (Mark Ruffalo), ferry to Shutter Island, a water-bound mental hospital housing the criminally insane. Scorsese and DiCaprio have once again created a "Must See Film" Shutter Island is an asylum for the criminally insane and what What US Marshall Daniels (DiCaprio) discovers and uncovers will definitely not only shock you but will also encourage you to do your own investigation into this controversial and realistic situation.

The best kind of thriller - the kind of scary, believable things that could really happen, but hopefully never to you. Great visuals in this film really set the scene and ratchet up the suspense. The actors do a great job with some challenging material, and make this suspense too real to bear at times. I read the book first, but still was spooked and surprised by the movie.

What a great movie, I had forgotten all about it until they released the 4k version. I'm glad that they did because it looks so much clean and crispy now. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys a good thriller.

Some may think it starts off slow like me given the era it suggest the movie takes place but believe me it's all well worth the watch. It will keep you interested if you give it a chance. I'll leave it there and the rest for you find out. May the force be with you on your journey ladies and gents.

Maybe not the best movie in the world, but I love it. It has many good scare factors and a twist you maybe didn't see coming, yeah! Give it that added kick, watch it in the dark all cozied up on the couch and if there happen's to be a rain storm outside, oh even better. Hope you enjoy and get a good scare!

Shutter Island the film: An intriguing story in a spooky setting. Just missed being an incredible film to me, because it doesn't become truly thought provoking until the last minute of the film. Shutter Island the blu-ray: Looks good; a great transfer. Extras are two making of featurettes (be sure to watch them AFTER the film), but they leave you wanting more.

Another fantastic film by THE MASTER , Martin Scorsese. His muse Leo DiCaprio pulls out a gem. Mark Ruffalo , Ben Kingsley part of at least 11 major actors. It's a walking daydream turn into a nightmare of self discovery. Twists and turns like a Maze of a plot. Must see THRILLER.

There are a lot of twists and turns, very good picture quality with the 4K version I purchased. Martin Scorsese, and DiCaprio make some great movies imho. I got it on sale so added to my 4K collection.

This is one of those movies that you will watch again and again year after year. I do not want to tell you the story because it is best just to see it without knowing to much. Get the popcorn and soda out before you sit down to watch it because you will not want to leave your seat once it starts!

This is some of Leonardo's best work. I like how the plot slowly unravels until the end. I asked myself the first time did you see that coming? You'll have to watch to know what i mean.

What can I say about this that already hasn't been said? Great film with amazing actors. This is a film that gets even better after the first viewing. Upon second viewing you become much more aware of the character actions and facial expressions and what they truly mean. Mind blowing !!!

I thought this was a great movie, very difficult to find locally though it seemed. I liked that it left you asking questions but gradually they all came together. Ive watched it 2-3 times since released and have noticed things i hadnt before each time.

One of Scorsese’s most underrated! Great performances all around as well as a great story. Another classic from Scorsese
