A longer learning curve for experienced Civ 5 players, but worthwhile. Great graphics, great game play and a pretty smart AI. Might be the best CIV yet. Let's see five hours from now.

Great game. Wonderful gameplay. A lot of people say they thing civ 5 is better but I think it's just bc this one doesn't have the dlc yet. Game offers enough as it is and recommend it

Nice addition to the Civilization series, harkening back to Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri. It utilzes the same game engine as the previous Civilization, so gameplay is similar. It does have a little learning curve for those of us that like to jump right in and play, but overall worth the spend.

This game much like earlier civilization games will suck hundreds of hours of your life. Its addictive, makes you want to just play one more turn, you think well I'll play for an hour and you end up playing for three, without even noticing. Great game would recommend to a friend.

I have been playing Sid's games since Alpha Centauri and I can say they give many hours of replay value. A great value for the money!!!!!!!

Compared to the previous games before it, the challenge is still the same .... Conquer to world. They may have changed the scenes form earth to another world but the concept is there... Stand the test of time. Overall it's is a Buy if you love the series.

I have been playing these games since civ 2 and they keep getting better. I would recommend this game for any strategy or civ fan. The only negative comment I saw in the reviews was that the graphics could be better and I would agree with that comment.

Like all Civilization games, you found cities, you grow, you produce and you research. I have played every Civ since 2 and this one makes me feel kind of alone. The other settlements don't interact much and after leaving your home world, traveling through space and trying to rebuild on a alien world - going to war seems like a foolish idea. So, I generally live in peace and race to one of the other victories. Its fun but it doesn't deliver the promise of "Beyond Earth" - its more of an alternate Earth where you do everything just as if you were on Earth.

They did a great job with this game. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys turn based games.

Its a Civilization game. If you've played one, your quite familiar. In my opinion though, this game regressed from the most excellent Civ 5 and its expansion. i was thouroughly excited to go back into the Alpha Centauri universe, especially with how far gaming has come since the original. But alas, an average game at best,

Over all great game new maps and new things to kill. the only thing is it does not allow you to keep going and kill the others. like the other allowed you to. but the game keeps u playing.

I have been anxiously awaiting the release of Beyond Earth for a while now. Stopped by on my way home the day of release and couldn't wait. Once I got it up and running, I found myself wondering why I couldn't wait... it seems like a good, solid game but really doesn't offer much new, except confusion! Lots of changes, and not all of them good. The technology tree is more confusing than ever and allows you to run amok if you choose, no real intuitive path to victory at this point. If you're a fan of the series I still recommend this game.

The game is good - what you would expect from Sid Meier by now. However, the space theme is a bit hard to get used to. Worst part - runs on Steam engine which is very buggy.

New concept, nice overall feel. Was a really gorgeous game.

Once you figure the game out it's pretty easy to play.

This game i aweome for anyone who wants to get into strategy games. Great continuation of the Civilization serie wothout feeling like the same game again.

The game is a lot of fun. Yes, the faction leaders aren't as remembers me as in previous civ games, but it makes up for that in its customization. The customization in this game is better than any previous civ game and will have you playing many different ways each campaign. I highly recommend this title. It's a lot of fun.

It's a fun game to play but it left a lot of things behind that made civ what it was.
