This game is great. Very detailed and educational. Requires thought and teaches about history, ancient society and strategy. I got it for my grandson and we played it together and he absolutely loved it.

I've been a fan of Civilization since version 4. I love this game, once you start it is hard to put down. I prefer the keyboard and mouse on the pc, the Switch version takes some getting used to.

Great little game. Hours of fun, a little clunkier to control than the PC version, but a great on the go option.

Performance of the Civ VI on Switch is pretty amazing. Graphic fidelity is good enough, and the game only starts chugging on huge maps with many opponents. If you like Civ VI, this is a no brainer.

A portable Civ game, let alone the most recent one, has me sold. The game is awesome, despite some of the controls taking some time to get used to. Wasn’t expecting this on switch but glad it is!

The game is good if you like turn based strategy games. I had played a few of the simpler Civilizations games and enjoyed them. Even with some previous experience and a tutorial, I still feel somewhat lost when playing especially when navigating menus. It’s definitely Civilization so if you like their other games, you’ll like this one. If you like quick paced action, you may want to skip this one.

my brother and I both bought this game, the game play is awesome and runs great on the switch, had an issue with local multiplayer but try to restarted the switch and should work.

Needed a game to play while on vacation and when I saw it for $10 I decided to buy it. Good decision. It’s fun to play and easy to get into.

Oh my, Sid Meier outdid himself on this one. Love strategy? Build your endearing empire for the ages. Use your brainstorming skills to get this to completion. Highly recommend!

Game is fun but has a learning curve to it. Can easily be confusing at times but just stick with it and you will eventually like it

Even though it’s a little tougher to play the game on a small screen and with less controls, it’s still pretty good.

The Switch version is just the base game, but that’s more than OK. There’s plenty to sink your teeth into, providing hours upon hours of unique experiences, accompanied by a divine soundtrack to really get you in the mood for building nations. Civ VI is a titan of a game and well worth your time, even if you’ve already spent hours on the PC version, because, now it’s portable, which is potentially dangerous to those who have jobs.

This is an excellent game. The add ons are easy to apply. It does take a few go arounds to get to know the game. I would say that you definitely need to watch tutorials to figure out exactly how to win. This thing is incredibly intricate. When you do watch some of the videos, you realize that there are things you cannot do on the Switch, that you can do on a PC. So the PC would be the way to go with this game. However, you can't take that on an airplane. So plus points on this for its portability. Highly recommended!

Good game but tougher to play than the PC version. Got this to be able to play on the road.

This game plays and looks great on the Nintendo Switch. If you’ve enjoy any of the Civilization games and are looking for a fun strategy game, look no further.

Fun Game, controls take some getting used to but a great edition to my Switch collection

A fun, detailed and multi layered strategy game that can be hard to put down. If you're familiar with Civilization games than VI will give you something new with your empire expanding outward rather than upward. If you're new to Civilization games, than I suggest watching a few youtube videos to help you dive into the mechanics of this game as it can get complicated jumping around between the ethics, civics and government trees while building your empire. Lots of fun to be had with this one!

Great strategy game. Did not disappoint. Have loved their line of games and the switch version was excellent.

This game is amazing and it runs pretty well on Nintendo Switch. Civilization fans would love to take it with them when they're away from their computers
