Customers admire Sid Meier's Civilization VI for its addictive and engaging gameplay, offering numerous possibilities and extensive playtime. The game's portability is also a significant plus, with many praising its convenience on the Switch. However, some users find the controls challenging and require time to master, while others mention the game's complexity and steep learning curve. The smaller screen size on the Switch is also noted as a potential drawback by some players.

This is a good game. I have always liked this series. They have added a lot of new items to the game so I need to catch up again as I have been playing the older versions. This is just the basic game and the expansions are not included. Overall a good game, I could hardly put it down ever since I got it.

Best simulation you can ask for in switch to spend 100s of hours. The port looks great in switch and graphics is not lost very much compared to PC or other consoles. It's best played on PC but I felt it's next best at switch. All these goodies for just around $14 is a great purchase that too for a physical game.

If you don't already own a Nintendo Switch, you should really jump on the bandwagon sooner rather than later because there are now so many wonderful experiences you can take with you on the go, including Civilization VI. If you love the previous iterations, this enhances those experiences by 10! Conquer the world on your Nintendo Switch! Hail, Cleopatra!!!

If I could give this game more than 5 stars I would. I played a lot of Civ a long time ago but just didn’t have the time in my adult life. The nice thing about the switch is I can take this game out and play 15-30 minutes at a time anywhere/anytime. The controls are incredible...that was my biggest concern not having a mouse to use...this is a must buy.

Faithful adaptation

I also own the PC version, and this is a seamless adaption of the original. Best perk is that now you can play this great game anywhere, and it plays just like the original. Two cons: no multiplayer, and it gets a little slow in the latter part of the game when the AI takes its turn.

This is a very fun game to play. It gives you the feeling of being god. Controlling the way empires and cites are built. The game play is relatively easy to follow. If your the kind of person that loves building things. And destroying things. Not to mention fighting. Then this is your game.

I have had fun playing this game. I would say it isn't as good as the fifth one and I don't feel I will play it as long as I did the fifth one but I still think this game is a lot of fun. I would say hold off until the product is cheaper and than it will totally be worth it.

A most impressive Civ game

If you like the old civ games and you have a switch, this is an easy buy. It does not replace the pc, but it is a first in terms of being able to play your favorite game on the go. The switch is able turn on and off, picking up where you left off. However, I would recommend saving it prior to doing so as it can fail you periodically.

I'm not sure how it stands up to the PC or console versions because I never played any of the Civilization games before, but this game is a lot of fun on the Switch. Playing this got me through a two day airline travel ordeal with my sanity intact, so I highly recommend!

Supports Korean, frame is good.
Just a amazing game and good port.
If you liked previous civilization , you will love it.
If you never played civilization series you might hate it for the genre, so I suggest you do some research on web, and youtube.

If you’ve ever played the Sid Meyers games then you’ll definitely want to add this one to your collection. Has the usual great aspects of the game as in the computer but now can be enjoyed anywhere you go. Playing can take up to hours and you’ll not want to stop.

Long time civ fan, haven’t figured out the game mechanics quite yet, but the game plays fine. It isn’t quite as fast as a full computer, but it makes good use of the many controller buttons to speed through the menus

I have been pleasantly surprised by this game. It is tough – especially early on – but I think it is going to be one of those games that the more I learn the more I want to play. I do wish there were easier ways to learn strategies than just combing the internet though.

Not My Favorite Civ, But Still Civ

This isn't the best of the Civilization games—that award goes to V and its expansions—but it's the newest, and it's an impressive thing to port to the switch of all consoles. You're getting the full Civilization experience on a portable for the first time ever (I'm pretty sure) and a console (Revolution this is not, fortunately). It runs relatively well, not that it needs to, on the Switch, even.
If you're not sure if you'll like Civilization, I'd do your research, but imagine that you're playing a massive board game that's more complex than any board game you've ever played, and you can play it for thousands of turns if you want, and there are different ways to win. The game's awesome.
Also, leadership at the company has said that all PC expansions, including both big expansions, will make their way to the Switch by the end of the year.

I goofed and thought this was for the PS4 but no worries, daughter was willing to play. She enjoys it very much. NOTE she is a college student. I definitely feel like this is a 13+ game based on the skills necessary. If you like empire games this is an excellent choice

Cub 6 for Switch is a great version of the PC game that launched some years ago. It doesn’t look too impressive, but the visuals are crisp enough when playing on the small screen. The controls are easy to get used to. The game is addictive, and it’s east to get caught in “just one more turn” cycles.

I’ve been playing Sid Meier’s Cub series since I was in 5th grade. Since that veRy first iteration these games have only gotten more in depth and much more intense! Now with the power of the Switch you can play on the road for the very first time!! This game has everything you could want and much more!

The game itself is good, I've always liked Civilization games, but this may be a game you want to play on your computer. The Switch is a great device, but certain games just don't play at their full potential on the platform.
