Customers commend the Samsung GALAXY On5 4G LTE for its price, camera quality, and ease of use. Many also appreciate the phone's battery life and screen size. However, some users find the limited storage capacity to be a significant drawback. The small amount of internal memory restricts the number of apps that can be installed.

Simple Choice For Simple Mobile

This version of the Galaxy On5 is locked to the Simple Mobile network but MIGHT work on T-Mobile, the carrier for Simple Mobile.
The On5 is about the size and weight of the mega-expensive Samsung Galaxy 7 but it is a much simpler phone. The On5 does a great job with phone calls, texting and email. That is ALL it is intended to do. It lacks the storage space needed to install more than a handful of smaller apps. Larger apps, such as Facebook, cause problems due to lack of storage space. You can add a MicroSD card to store your music, photos and videos.
The battery lasts 16 or 18 hours unless you are using gps navigation, streaming videos or playing games. Then you need to charge after four or five hours.
For Simple Mobile customers with simple needs, the On5 is a terrific phone at a low price.

Horrible phone. Slow and near nonfunctional out of the box. Save your money and get something better. I recommend coughing up an extra 50 bucks for the moto.

I don't recommend

I cannot recommend this phone. The touch screen is not sensitive to your fingertips, or else it picks up the letter or symbol next to the one you've touched. Very little memory so you won't be able to down load more than one or two apps. The memory gets full extremely quickly. When it does the whole phone will slow down. Texting especially. This phone is for a child or someone who only makes phone calls. The greatest feature about it is that the battery life is incredible. Would love to see this battery life on all the galaxy models!

Decent, but free at MetroPCS

This is a decent phone, but not for using more than roughly 4-6 apps due to limited storage..8GB is paltry. At $50., it's not attractive, especially since it's free when you port in a number with MetroPCS (T-Mo network same as Total Wireless) as they give a $60. immediate credit for new port in numbers. Also not that these Simple Mobile phones are very difficult to unlock for use on T-Mobile and their subs, or certainly At&t and their subs.

8MB isn't enough

Good phone for the price but, the down side is that it only has 8mb of internal memory. I 've had this phone for about 1yr and once of twice a month I will need to adjust or delete things so I have enough internal memory space for use. It does have an SD card slot but there are quite a few apps that don't allow you to use external memory or just stop working if you migrate to the SD card.

I bought this phone and it showed tracfone logo when turned on. This can't be unlocked.
