Bought this to replace my old alarm system. Installation was a breeze, had it up and running quickly. I was paying nearly fifty dollars a month with my old alarm system for monitoring, I am only paying about 15 dollars a month with Simplisafe with NO contract! Wish I would have purchased sooner.

As advertised, I was able to setup this home security system by myself in about 20 minutes. Initially, I opted for the cheaper monitoring package, but decided to upgrade to the interactive monitoring package. I also added the SimpliSafe Camera. I’m glad that I invested in this security package.

The remote monitoring function of this is pretty awesome, no more wondering if I set the alarm anymore.

It was easy to install but I was told it had a siren of 105 decibels.. I did not . has a siren in the home unit only 85 dec. . the external siren I had to buy at $60 dollars additional . It was 105 decibels.. The inside siren does scare off the criminal or bad guys

Live in a neighborhood where cell coverage is kind of spotty. Kept losing signal and disconnecting. Also, DIY is nice, but self monitoring is not an option unless you want to just use the audible siren built into the base station as your only means of alerting.

very simple to setup and use. Have not had any problems whatsoever and my only wish is that I would have just started out with the bigger package as I was a little leary going in and wanted to limit my exspense if it didn't workout. But it's been perfect and I plan to get additional pcs.

Works great! exactly what we wanted and needed! Now we can see everything even when not there.

Love this system. Installed in 45 mins and I took my time. Service is good and reasonably priced per month. Great for renters because you can take the system with you.

Really simple to setup as well as add components. Only challenge was the sensor sticking to the door frame, that was resolved with a small dab of glue. I accidents set off a water sensor and was called right away. Solid product with responsive coverage.

i really love the SimpliSafe system. It works great and the ongoing monthly expense is well worth it compared to the systems that charge upwards of $50 a month for monitoring. GREAT product!!

Man this was a good deal. Very easy set up and I fell my home is much safer.

I bought the system to use without monitoring and it works great. I also purchased the siren, an extra motion sensor, and more window/door sensors. I have the base station upstairs and installed the siren in an discreet location downstairs. Any movement downstairs or any windows/doors open throughout my house will trigger the base system immediately. FYI: The siren is a must... Very loud! The base station alarm is loud but the further away you place it the sound with start to get dim as anything you distance from you. Any negative reviews you may find about the system I believe is due to poor installation/setup. Another great added feature is it can be activated under the monitoring system for a low monthly charge without a contract. On vacation, we activate the monitoring system and it is well worth the stress while away. 2 thumbs up!

We have yet to set this up. Planning on giving this as a Christmas gift

The system is VERY easy to set up and use. Some concerns on possible interference with neighboring similar systems but we have no problem at all. The included USB software is easy to use as well. Overall great value for the price.

We have always had security companies come to solicitate business. This system is great because we can configure for our need. We can add if needed, just be ordering more parts. Very easy to read instructions for installing.
