The Simplisafe unit's cellular connection did not work. Apparently they have two different modules they use in their unit to make the cellular connection. Mine did not work so they are sending the other module that I will have to install. Meantime I have no connection on my security system, therefore no monitoring.

This alarm system was extremely easy to install and activate.

Attempted to hook up product install was a breeze, but then trying to connect to dispatch and send a test wasn't working after hours of trying i gave up. Don't call them after hrs or you won't get through. Ends up I called and simplisafe said the circuit board needs to be replaced it comes with a T Mobile board which alot of times has problems in Las Vegas.. hmmm and forget about returning it after 14 days. I'm still not sure if the new board will get it to work correctly or not. I also spent 30 min on hold before getting a rep. From company. Ridiculous

so far, so good... had to send the base station back to exchange it for the Verizon version but that was quick and easy.. good customer service, sometimes the wait on hold was longer than expected.. all in all, i'm pleased

Fairly easy to pair everything but setting up rules is a nightmare. USB is useless. It just doesn’t work. Ive tried twice with 2 different jump drives. It just freezes and if you pull it out it corrupts it.

My existing alarm system prior to purchasing Simplisafe cost me $35 per month. verse $15 per month. the old system was wired and had a large battery. On top of that Best buy had a free boost package, it gave me the extra units I needed. I do recommend the Simlisafe system.

If you need an alarm system that doesn't cost a lot every month, this is it. If you can afford the higher end functions, you get an app. The app needs built out more, but the install process and quality of the product is great.

The system itself is wonderful but I wouldn’t do the app option as it is very finicky and rarely connects and trying to get ahold of their customer service is a nightmare. But outside of that, fully positive experience.

Bought for my mom, she loves and gives her peace of mind. Only thing I don’t care for, is she isn’t having it monitored and now there is a constant blue light alerting her to that fact.

I love how the set up is easy and that you are able to do it yourself. Also, their monitoring has been great. Have had a couple of false alarms and they called me immediately. Great response.

This SimpliSafe home security system works well for a smaller home with a limited number of windows and points of entry. For a larger home like mine with lots of windows and sliding glass doors, the cost of additional sensors (window sensors, door sensors, motion detectors and glass-break detectors) turned out to be prohibitive, exceeding the purchase price of the base system. I'm not sure where to go from here, so I'll likely have to return the product. Too bad, because I like the system's design and features.

I bought the product for my daughter. I didn't want to spend a lot of money but wanted to make sure I wasn't worried about her. The price was great, and the product surpassed my expectations.

When i first got this, i was not impressed. However, after setting it up and installing the various sensors, I now see the benefit of this truly wireless security system.

It does what I paid for. Maybe a digital keypad and louder alarm and I'd give it 5 stars. Performance wise, no problems. I would get it again if they added those upgrades
