Perfect security system for one low motherly price.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter two years ago before Ring hit the market. It works ok, but no real interfaces and the monitoring is about $10 per month. Then Ring came along with their doorbell, spotlights, pathway lights, and alarm that are all integrated and controlled by their app. I have several ring products and for $99 a year you get all of them controlled online by the app, including the alarm monitoring. So Ring is cheaper and better. I wish it had been around when I bought this for her. I guess next house I know what to get her.

I on't know whether to blame Best-buy or Simplisafe, because it appears this system was bought and returned and resold to me. Keypad wouldn't connect to other components of system, so I called Simplisafe. After reading the serial numbers to the agent, he said they were mismatched. Plus there was a torn off box lid inside the box the system came in. I returned it to Best-Buy. Waiting for new models to be reviewed before deciding to try it.

The sensors are difficult to apply to Windows and doors with even slightly uneven surfaces. The alarm siren is not loud at all.

Good system if you have a cat five cable in your home unfortunately our wireless network we have here didn’t support that

Very easy to install; response time for alarm to sound is about 8 seconds. That's a little disappointing.

I needed a new security system and based on reviews this system looked good but when I tried to call about the installation, I could get through to anyone a SimpliSafe customer support. After waiting for 30mins I called the sale department and they picked up within 30 seconds. When I saw where they priorities were. I boxed up the system and took it back to the store for refund. Buy from a cut rate company and get cut rate service.

I like it but I wasn't too sure about it. I wish it was alil more reasonable.

I am sure it works well but the aesthetic is really... 1980's. Dont know why it was made that way the new stuff is actually pretty good looking. But I found that after I signed up with ADT. I know that may not be a good metric but it really is outstandingly outdated looking.

Would not catch a signal. Tried calling their customer service they don’t answer. Tried leaving call back number they didn’t call back. Returned the product. Tried emailing them to cancel subscription, they responded that I have to call to cancel. Called, waited 1 hour before they answered. I could go on but it’s senseless. I would not recommend this to anyone. Poor product poor customer service.

Been looking for DIY systems for a while and decided to give Simplisafe a try. Set up was a breeze and took less than 5 minutes. Only issue was connection to monitoring station as I live in a remote area. Called the customer service number and got a response very quick. Within 10 minutes we had determined it was a weak signal problem and they sent a Verizon module overnight. (Most systems come with a t-mobile module). Everything is working great. The interactive website and mobile app works great and is easy to use. I also like you can easily assign codes to fiends and family at a click of a button. The monitoring rates are very reasonable compared to most companies. No contracts! The Best Buy bundles were a good fit for me because it didn't need all the bells and whistles that came with the direct from simplisafe website. Overall really happy with the purchase.

Keypad did not work. Base for TMobile users only. Unable to use with Verizon. If you want this system, buy somewhere else!

The key pad is only 30 feet from the base and it is always telling me that it is out of range. I don’t understand why.

Can only be used onsite and not accessed remotely, had to return otherwise item looks good for in house alarm

Probably works well but I wanted a system that did not require a service with a monthly charge.

I didn't have much luck with this system, returned it in a day.

I have called three times and received two new remotes but I can not get ride of the blue blinking light becaue I refuse to pay them 15 dollars a month and I do not own a Microsoft product computer. So it’s not so simple for Mac user.

The package comes with out remote . Best buy sold to me used/return product

Easily hackable, beeper is low, a thief can easily come in and disable
