Easy to install. Monitoring is cheap Add on products are not expensive

Had seen this security system on line and was very interested. Went to local Best Buy and saw that they had these in the store,so I made the decision to pick one up. Got it home and set it up right away. Works well and was easy to set up.

Just installed my alarm 3 days ago.Installation was a breeze.I used the double stick tape on all the sensors. Make sure you clean surface area before mounting .I used screws to mount the keypad & extra siren .Although the screws proved were to short for this purpose.I also subscribed to the $24.99 a month monitoring plan.That way I have access to the phone app & interactive monitoring with computer & phone.I also receive text & emails when an alarm goes off.I've tested this feature yesterday and I received a text within seconds of alarm going off.The base alarm is pretty loud but I must say the extra alarm that I mounted outside is REALLY loud.I recommend that you purchase one.The only complaint I have is the keypad doesn't light up .Only the display lights up when the buttons are pressed.

Product was very easy to install and is working well. Like having option of whether or not to have 24/7 professional monitoring w/o contract; can have monitoring one month and not next then again after w/o penalty. App is working ok, though a bit of a delay once in a while. Was disappointed to learn that app is basically useless w/o monitoring service. App should work irregardless if have monitoring service or not. What I understand is that if w/o professional monitoring then system still works locally (local siren will go on if set off, but no app notification and no emergency dispatch. Returned the camera once learned had to pay $4.99 monthly for camera service. Should be included. Overall ok, but disappointed w/ some aspects noted above.

The system was easy to set up and configure. The one button arm when leaving is a nice improvement over my previous system. Things I would improve are being able to custom label the sensors so that when you get a door open alert on the keypad you wouldn't have to go to where you wrote down which sensor serial number is for which door. Also a lighted keypad not just the display would be helpful.

Husband wanted this for Christmas and was very happy - so easy to install. I called customer service just for some questions - very professional and knowledgeable. Only negative is it has an app to work with, but cant use app if you do not purchase their monitoring package. Annoyed by that as their commercials and website lead you to believe otherwise.

My old security system was acting with my VoIP provider, and hence the change to a new security system. Easy to install, affordable monitoring plans and most of all... no contracts. Just note that you'll need $25 monthly monitoring plan to take advantage of the app. Otherwise, so far so good.

My house was broken into about a month prior to purchasing this system. I was going on vacation for a week and wanted to make sure my house and contents were protected. Procrastinator that I am, I waited until the day before my trip to buy the system. Turns out that was plenty of time! I was able to get the system installed on 4 doors, the motion sensor placed, and the key pad installed in less than an hour. 15 minutes later, after registering with SimpliSafe, I had the system tested and up and running. The monitoring packages are either bare bones or for about $10 more per month, you get mobile notifications and the ability to control your system via smartphone from anywhere. The system has given me comfort when I am away from home because I know that if anyone tried to break into my home, they are in for a very rude surprise. I definitely recommend this system because of its ease of SELF INSTALLATION, low cost, and no-contract low cost monitoring.

Good option. Self-instruction and you have option to sign up for a monitoring service. Monitoring service is $15 or $25/month depending on the level. One drawback is it does not support zone. Can't create zones and only arm/disarm certain zone s.

The Simplisafe DIY system works well. Easy to install. Had to reset the base to get it to activate by removing the 4 AA rechargeable batteries at the bottom of the base. Other that, it seems to works well. Need decent tmobile cellular signal for it to work.

Easy to install, good directions to follow. Well done. My only problem is the constantly blinking blue light until I sign up for active monitoring. There must be a way to deactivate the light without requiring monitoring service.

System was easy to set up and easy to use. Monthly costs are reasonable when compared with other security systems and the savings on my homeowner's insurance offset the monthly monitoring fees for roughly 10 months out of the year. Excellent value!

I loved that I was able to install this myself (a girl!) in about 30 minutes. I love that I receive text messages when the alarm is armed and disarmed. It is very simple and I feel much better knowing the house it is installed in is more secure.

I keep it off as my cats want in and out often and the "ding" drives us .... Glad I did not the monitoring option. I will activate while on vacation. The system is easy to set up and other options can be added :ie camera.

Simpli Safe home security system is really great being a portable unit. It gives us a sense of being able to leave our home and not worry about being a victim. It is easy to operate and we are more likely to use it on a consistent basis.

Simplisafe was extremely easy and fast to set up and offers a great user experience. The monitoring service is the most affordable I found and does not lock you into any contract. The app is very straightforward as well.

The System is very easy and quick to setup. The keypad is small and very hard to see no backlight ,the $14.95 service does not let you use the app, other than that its a great alarm system.

This security system was relatively easy to install. Over time will definitely save a lot of money avoiding the high fees/costs of larger security companies like ADT, etc.

Easy to use system all sensors and keypad comes with 3m self adhesive tape. Just peel and stick to area. I enrolled for the $24.99 monitoring service. It gives you access to use the mobile app. To arm/disarm the system from any mobile device. This specific model which is now the older version. Does appear a little dated, but it gets the job done . Peace of mind at a great price compared to other companies.
