It exceeded my expectation. The setup was easy and the monthly is exactly what is advertised. The expandability of individual sensors is the attractive point about this system. All added pieces are relatively inexpensive. The mobile alerts are sometimes delayed and probably due to the cell phone carrier. The engineers should look into upgrades that can be done by the owner via the USB key chain. The system should adapt to new threats as they arise. However, for basic protection, it is the best deal out there although no camera systems are available.

This system seemed like it is easy to install and use on a daily basis and it is true.

I wish I could describe how easy this is to set up. I'm neither tech savvy or handy but within an hour, just like the TV commercials. I had this unit set up. This is the second system I've personally handled, which is being used at my parents' new house. I did run across an error, which I later learned was my own error, but SimpliSafe customer service walked me through my issue and helped me get to the end result I needed. My parents are enjoying their SimpliSafe, feel it's easier to use than the hard-installed system at their previous house, and couldn't be happier with their sense of security at home.

Simple, easy-to-use, and serves its purpose at an economical cost.

A funky entrance sensor and long waits for customer service cost it a star. Had to play around with placement of the base (to be expected) but otherwise the install of the components was pretty simple. Disappointed the basic monitoring service comes with a lackluster app, shouldn't have to buy your way to the full functioning app in 2017. Once you finally get someone on the phone they are knowledgeable. They overnighted a new sensor and everything is working fine.
