This is my ninth year using SimpliSafe. This purchase was to upgrade the sensors and station technology. SF is always reliable and efficient. Monitoring service and customer service is top notch. Do it yourself installation is extremely easy. I recommend it 100%.

I replaced my ADT system with SimpliSafe and saved substantially on monthly charges. The system was very easy to install. Anyone can do it. It's not technical at all. But, that doesn't mean that it lacks security. I now have the same amount of protection my ADT system provided for a lot less.

This right here was one of the best decisions that I can make this right here is one of the best decisions that I can make in reference to an alarm system for my home I was paying almost $50 before discovering simply safe.

Once I figured out where I wanted everything, installation took no more than a few minutes. Set up is very easy. Simplisafe provided everything I needed to register the alarm system with the county police department, which in my county is required. The simple design is very discreet.

Very satisfied, however, you will need to get strong double sided tape to affix the sensors to your walls, window frames, etc. The factory adhesive included with this system junk and will not hold your sensors to your desired surface. Performance of the system is perfect.

Love my simple safe , give me the option to be just a stand alone deterrent or a full alarm system. System works great to monitor kids room ... no more sneaking out of the house

I've only had this system for 3 months and in that time it has worked flawless and conveniently. I called S.S. and had them make note to never call the police. I just want the loud sirens to go off and scare away potential robbers and if my wife is home the siren would wake her up and she can "protect" herself with other means. Now if the system does go off I would get the call from S.S. and I can make the judgement if I would like to call the police myself or if my wife were home she could call 911 if there were an emergency. With that said, S.S. assured me no police would be contacted (ever) Well today I armed the system and left the house, didnt even make it to the end of the driveway and my phone is ringing. I didnt get it in time since I'm busy trying to back my car out onto the street but I seen the call was S.S. The wife got the call too but was working and didn't have her phone nearby. The police were called even though my account specifically says never call the police. So that annoyed me but the worst part is the system was tripped due to the panic button being hit. The app time line says the panic button was hit 1 minute after I left the house. I'm thinking I accidentally hit it and it's all my fault. No biggie though it's all set. Cops called and I said false alert. So now I see all is well and get ready to head out to work for a second time. I arm the system, hop in my car and take off. About 10 minutes down the road I decide to check the app again and sure enough the panic button is hit again. This time according to the timeline it was hit 5 minutes after I armed the system. So now I know for a fact it's not me accidentally hitting it..... theres something wrong with the system. The wife calls me and says they called her again and she thinks its because of the first false alarm. The weird part is they never called me about the second false alarm they just called her. I have it set up so I'm the first call, shes the backup. So now even though they spoke with her the cops were called again and are heading to my house. I turn my car around again about 20 minutes from home to head back. I get home to meet the police, say it's a false alarm and they take off. Mind you, I only get two false alarms a year from the police before they start issuing me fines and I just had 2 false alarms in a single day after owning the system for 3 months (not even a full 3 months) I call S.S. dispatch and the woman on the line tells me she doesnt know why police were called because it clearly states that I do not want them to be called in the note section. So what's the point of even making the note if it's not going to be followed. Now I can't arm the system because I have no clue why its even getting tripped in the first place and I fear I'll be fined from the police. Ironically these false alarms happens today (January 1st!!!!!) So on the very first day of the calendar year I have already wasted my 2 false alarms and they weren't even my fault. Also it's worth mentioning that the app is pretty well laid out but since this is the first time I've had a triggered alarm I noticed that the app does not alert you the system is going off.... it does if you open the app but I would have never opened the app if it weren't for me seeing that S.S. called me. I will be calling S.S. tomorrow because the customer support center is closed on this holiday and I will ask for a refund with full intentions of taking down all the equipment and sending it back. What's the point of a security system if the company doesnt do what I say (dont call police) and if the system cries wolf. Not happy at all. Plus I arrived at work late due to the issue and lost out on some pay. No thanks S.S. I'm going to try another brand.

This system from top to bottom is easy to install and works. I've unintentionally tested this when my folks came by my house and accidentally set off the system. Simplisafe called my direct # and confirmed a system alert within seconds of it going off. A second time it alerted was when I was testing the system to ensure everything worked after a glitch. Once again Simplisafe called within seconds of my system giving off alerts to them about a system test to ensure it was actually me testing it. I read up on this system before buying it and chose it over the Ring security system because there is a tamper alert on their sensors, base, and the actual keypad. Theres also a back up it runs on if the power goes off. You can choose to activate the actual monitoring system or not and monitor things on your own, which is genius giving the user the choice.

Replaced our Ring alarm and couldn't be more pleased! Works great, easy to install. One thing, the adhesive stickers on 3 devices didn't stick, ended up using super glue. Overall, very bappy.

Double sided tape was weak. Use screws to mount control panel or it will fall off the wall. Other than that, easy to set up and price beats other systems. Would recommend and buy again.

The System was easy to setup and I added additional components ordered directly from SimpliSafe. The system is easily controlled with my SmartPhone app. The new design has a modern contemporary feel and blends in well with my Orbi, SmartThings Hub, Etc.

Very easy to use and setup. This system is very simple to use and has a good amount of sensors to start with. This really gives us more peace of mind and was easy to setup for central monitoring.

New and improved over the 1st edition. This is a lot faster and more versatile and it interfaces well with smartlocks.
