Easy to pair up with the system, and easy to install. The one downside is they lose connection to the base station really often, which causes the base station to let you know that. Loudly. Overall, worth it though.

Disclaimer: You need the SimpliSafe data plan for this lock to work. Now that I got that out of the way. This lock is a great addition to any home which has the simplisafe security system. It is extremely easy to install, it took me 10 minutes, and even easier to link to your home security system. Once it is fully set up, the keypad uses the same code that you use on your main pad to disarm the system. In addition to the keypad, you can use the mobile app and/or the keyfob to unlock the door. In terms of aesthetics: I first thought that this would look too bulky on the inside, but it pairs very nice with a a matt black handle. Our of all the simplisafe products I have bought, this is definitely one of my favorite! If there is any downside: some other smart locks have a function to help determine if the door was accidentally left open. This does not. While it does give you a warning if the door lock jammed, it will not warn you if you tried to lock the door and it was still open.

Works well with the simplisafe app and is great because it works without removing the front of the door lock. Also disarms the alarm when the door is unlocked. I wish it worked with the apple watch though.

The installation was super easy. It is so simple to use and easily connects to the app. I haven’t had any issues with it at all.

Really like this, installed in 30 minutes and I'm not that great an installer. What I really like is the Simplisafe system talks to it, so I set it to automatically lock the door if unlocked for 15 minutes AND it will lock the door if I go to HOME mode. Unlocking it with the PIN pad also turns off the alarm, which makes good sense. I kept the original lock key in a keyvault outside, so if it failed to open one day I could still get in the house. I like it.

Smart lock that just works for getting into the house or garage.

Easy to install; love the keypad OR key feature. Locks automatically, so I don’t have to worry if I locked my door.

I purchased this expecting it to work with my deadbolt and sadly it didn’t. The bolts for my kwikset deadbolt were too long to securely attach the bracket that this thing attaches to. I explained my issue to SimpliSafe and they told me my lock wasn’t compatible. They offered me 3 months of free monitoring because I was forced to get a new deadbolt. I purchased a Schlage deadbolt from Home Depot and it worked perfectly with the smart lock. SimpliSafe did provide good customer service but I wish they would submit a compatibility list. They make it seem as though it will fit on any single cylinder deadbolt but that isn’t the case. If you have Schlage locks, you’re good to go. Be careful with kwikset though. They may not be compatible. Not sure of any other brands. The technician at SimpliSafe recommended the Schlage.
