I was skeptical about smart locks because I was not educated on how they worked if Internet went out. So I took a leap and added this one because I already had simplisafe for my security system. It was easy to setup and had a clean look to it. The biggest surprise came after owning the lock for several months was last week Sunday during a 12 hr internet outage. Nothing was working of course, so I did my usual routine of going out and watering the lawn and to my surprise the lock still functioned and locked on its set timer with no Internet going to the base station. Double checked, unlocked and watched it lock back on it's own. Definitely worth the money and highly recommend if you want to add to your simplisafe system.

I am a 72 year old female and purchased this SimpliSafe Smart Lock, along with the entire SimpliSafe security system, I installed the lock and other components easily by myself and am extremely pleased! If you are comfortable with DIY, I highly recommend their products as well as purchasing them from BestBuy, especially with the Total Protection warranty plan they offer.

Works flawlessly if you’re already in the SimpliSafe ecosystem. It’s very responsive, works as intended and can be controlled via the app and from the hub. I’m never leaving the SimpliSafe ecosystem. They provide it all!

The best smart lock, this worked perfect with my Simplisafe system and I can set times to lock and has a code that helps me unlock and lock the house while not damaging my door.

We have constant issues with the lock not working. Even though we just bought a brand new one after having our old ones for 2 years we still have issues. I have to contaxt support constantly. When the lock works it is fabulous. I love the autolock feature.

Works a lot better than the previous version. Still has lost connection issues occasionally, but a lot less.

This lock makes it easy for me to get into my garage door. I have the key fob and when I open my garage, I unlock my door at the same time.

I absolutely love this lock feature. I can enter my home using my fingerprint, with keys, a key fob or a code. I can even assign a family member an access code just in case I can’t let them in. Perfect and secure.
