I added this right over the door and it definitely gives you a scare when it goes off. I think it’s needed because just the base alone doesn’t give ppl that scare. I believe by having this, makes someone who’s breaking in think twice

Connecting this to my alarm was very easy with no issues. Mounted it outside and tested the siren by setting off the alarm. It is VERY LOUD and can easily be heard by your neighbors. There was about a 2 second delay from when the base went off till this siren started and as soon as I disarmed the base this stopped. Works great and highly recommend!

I own the simple safe system that works great! However, the alarm that came with my package, the cone, wouldn't scare a small child. I read all the reviews and was convinced this was necessary. I is really loud with the 2 sirens hopefully I will never know that it scared the potential perpetrator off. This system is a snap to install and the staff are wonderful to deal with if you have trouble. Better to be safe than sorry!

The siren is very loud and would definitely draw the attention of others. It is also easy to hear from any room in our place. You can use multiples if you have a large home or multiple floors.

SimpliSafe products are well-made. This is the same thing you can get from their website for the same price. No complaints whatsoever.

I bought the SimpliSafe unit and it works great, but the alarm the base station gives off is not very loud and wouldn't scare an intruder. You MUST get one (or more) of these sirens. They are so loud, it hurts. I'm kind of surprised that one of these isn't included with the main system, as I feel it's necessary to make it feel like you actually have an alarm that would scare away an intruder.

Added this siren to my security system from SimpliSafe. Much louder than the one from the main base. Highly recommended and easy to setup like all their other products. A+

This was a great addition to my SimpliSafe setup. It is easy to set up right out of the box and pair to the system. It is definitely loud enough to get your attention no matter where you are around the property. I love that you can set it to chime with the base station, but the only thing I do not like about it is that there is a delay between the base station chime and the siren chime. One other thing I would like to see on future products is stronger adhesive, this fell off our wall twice after install.

A MUST HAVE with the SimpliSafe system! This allows us to hear the alerts and alarm upstairs without having to move the base station around.

I bought a couple of these to add to my system, one for inside and one for outside. They work great and are very loud! Plan on buying two more…

i added this to my SimpliSafe home security system. So, I now have a siren at the front and back of the house. It is pretty loud and would definitely deter someone from staying in the house for a long time. The only problem that I have with SimpliSafe... and it is not related to the siren... the base unit is not loud enough to hear when a door is opened. And when a door is closed it does not chirp again. I wish that SimpliSafe offered another speaker that linked to the base and you could place the speaker in another spot in the house. I would also like the door to chirp when opened and once again when closed... it would let you know that the door is properly closed.

It was a excellent addition to my SimpliSafe system. The siren is very loud and you can place it anywhere in your house, once you log it in to the SimpliSafe tower, which is very easy.

Very simple to install, no wires required, and really gets the job done. I purchased this for a home that's under construction. The simplisafe home station serves as a speaker, but it's not very loud. And in the event of a burglar breaking in, they can simply disconnect the base station and/or take out the batteries to silence the alarm. This alarm, on the other hand, can be placed outside in a hard to reach place (which is exactly what I did), and can be heard by the whole neighborhood. It will definitely send thieves running.

Very loud, excellent addition for a large House or if you want to put one upstairs or in your basement where other people might be sleeping. 105 dB is Extremely loud. Perfect for scaring off intruders and warning your loved ones.

Easy to set up, just like the rest of the system. Be careful when testing!! I like the fact that it can be used outside to draw more attention.

Siren is very loud works great . The siren was very easy to connect to the SimpliSafe base. And sounds way louder then base unit

I added this to the system I purchased four months ago, replacing my ADT system. The siren built into the startup system is not very loud. I put this on the ceiling of my covered front porch close to the front door to let any intruders know they set off an alarm and the neighbors know it. No issues, it can be heard in the house as it is very loud.
