I've wanted to buy outdoor speakers for some time. My wife bought these for me for Father's Day - after me giving a not so subtle hint that I should buy them since the reviews were consistently good or better. These speakers are definitely as good as the reviews suggest they are. My yard is approximately 200 x 50 - and the speakers provide great coverage. Haven’t tried them at peak power - but hadn't had to. I did use better gauge speaker wire than came in the box – but only because the run I have is about 60 feet from my receiver. Have played Frank Sinatra, Harry James, Eagles and Van Morrison so far – full sound at a great price!

We have had these speakers for three years and have loved every minute of them. Tonight, I realized I used other people's reviews and never wrote one myself. I am soooo glad i didn't spend a fortune for another brand. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat!!!!

Best buy had a set up display as you entered the store. I decided to press play and the you should be dancing by the Bee Gees came on. I raises the volume and kept raising it to the max. Next thing you know my daughter walks away laughing, the cashiers heads are moving along with the music, and the customers were enjoying the loud music. I immediately purchased them and set them up in the deck. I Definately recommend..

I bought these speakers for a little entertaining with friends outside while BBQing and having a few drinks. Turns out,it was a REALLY great purchase. The speakers are excellent quality and they blend in so well with my garden. My company couldn't even tell where the music was coming from. If you want to make a starter investment in outdoor entertainment,I suggest these speakers. They sound great, they blend well with the outdoor environment (they look just like little rocks!), and the are just pretty cool to show.....

I have 3 pair of these speakers, spread throughout my landscape. They've held up in all kinds of weather. The sound is amazing, especially for the price

Extremely impressed with these speakers! Blend in great with outside landscape. Set them up last weekend, turned my tuner to about 15% and was blown away by the sound. My neighbors will either love or hate me, When i cranked up the power, the sound held true. For the price i would recommend these to anyone who truly wants a very good sounding system at and excellent value.

I purchased 2 pairs of these speaker to use on a outdoor movie area in my backyard and the have stood the test of the elements to this date. Very easy to install and they look and feel just like rock material. Now if I can just get my Jack Russel Terrier to stop lifting his little leg on them I won't have to put him in the time out corner. The speaker come with extra long wiring that you can install with the crip caps that come in the box. This is a cheaper and possibly a better purchase than the Speaker Craft version which cost twice as much.

I have to say that I'm quite satisfied with these rock speakers. They aren't fooling anyone with their appearance, but they do blend nicely in the back yard. The sound from these things is actually somewhat amazing. I was looking to buy the Bose 360 degree speakers for over $400 a pair. I happened to be in Best Buy for a totally unrelated reason, and heard these being demoed in the front of the store. I believe I only paid $79 for the pair. I figured at that price, how could I go wrong? And boy was I right! These things sound amazing. The highs are there, and they even have a little bit of bass kicking when needed. My July 4th party this year is going to sound great. My only regret is that I didn't pick up another pair at the time. They are back to regular price now. They do provide you with a somewhat short lenght of speaker cable, so if you pick these up, you'll need to get some extra.

Good speaker for the price. Great look and price. I had a recent party and speakers could be heard over my half acre lot without any problems. Me and my wife also relax while listening to them in the back yard. My only wish is they had a little more base, other than that a 4.6 out of 5 rating.

These speakers were everything I needed and wanted. I set them up with ease. The 50' speaker wire is encased in a black covering. I wished there were 2. Still, the sound was outstanding at every level. they look very natural in my yard. I'm very pleased with these speakers.

These are great speakers. They have stood up to the 100+ temp.'s of TX this summer and work great. Clear, not crackly at all. I've gotten them wet a few times with the water hose and didn't seem to make a bit of difference, still working great! Sometimes waterproof doesn't always mean waterproof, but it does with these. Great set of speakers, great value for the price. Pleased with this purchase :)

Overall this purchase exceeded my expectations; we have a large yard and two deck area and needed sound to one farthest away. Our outdoor system included Bose speakers and by adding these speakers we have great surround sound in the yard. Have not had much rain but that will be the ultimate test to see if it is truly rain/weather resistant.

I WAS AT BEST BUY JUST LOOKING AROUND AND SAW THESE SPEAKERS.I THOUGHT THEY LOOKED REALLY COOL AND THE MAGNOLIA GUY CAME OVER AND SAID THAT THEY WERE HAVING A SALE ON THE SPEAKERCRAFT ROCK SPEAKERS.SO I WENT AND LISTENED TO THE SPEAKERCRAFTS AND WAS TRULY IMPRESSED BUT THE PRICE TAG WAS NOT SO IMPRESSIVE.SO I WENT BACK OVER TO THE INSIGNIA ROCK SPEAKERS AND LISTENED TO THEM AND THEY SOUNDED JUST AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER AND THAT WAS HOOKED UP TO A JUNKY YAMAHA RECIVER.WHEN I INSTALLED THEM AT HOME AND HOOKED THEM UP TO MY PIONEER AND BAM!!!!! COULD NOT BELIVE HOW GOOD THEY SOUND WITH ALL KINDS OF MUSIC.A MUST BUY FOR ANYBODY WHO ENJOYS HANGIN IN THIER BACKYARD

We love the speakers. While on vacation in Biloxi, Ms., similar speakers were placed around the pool and we enjoyed them so much. We began to search while there and found Best Buy to have the cheapest price for speakers that were a little smaller, but very similar to the ones at the condo. They blend in with the shrubbery and have a big sound. A great buy.

I have these speakers hooked up to a 1000 watt Yamaha receiver outside on my patio. People have commented how good they sound. I am going to buy another set so I can have surround on my patio.

Did not expect such a good sound from an inexpensive speaker set. Connected to an old logitech z 5450 home theater system with sub woofer and the system rocks! Contemplating another set to immerse the pool and spa area in sound. sound quality is on par with much higher priced systems......and coupled with airport express hooked to receiver makes it all the more enjoyable.......in fact I am typing this review on my iPhone while sitting the the spa controlling my sound system with my phone!!

Great speaker for the money. You just can't beat the price. No complaints. Even includes 100 ft of wire!

I have a pair of bose 501 speakers & these insignia t speakers sound great. good bass & clarity. great price. I had the speakers for three months & so far so good, so I don't know the longevity. my bose 501 six yrs. I put my speakers away during winter.

I've been trying to get a second set for a long time. There a great product for my pool area. They have been out in the weather several times and there has been no deterioration in the sound or product.
