I enjoyed this animated flick when it came out and since a sequel is being made this December and it’s first trailer came out recently I figured That I would but the original and rewatch it so I’m ready for the sequel if it comes to theaters!

I took my kids to see this because it looked like it might be fun, but we didn't really expect much. WOW, were we ever surprised! The music (85 songs are sung in this movie!), the depth of the characters and their personal stories, the main story going in directions we didn't really anticipate...it all made for a fantastic surprise! There's also incredible lessons of trust, love, and believing in yourself. Not only is this movie a Must-See for everyone, but all ages will be absolutely swept away and have a fantastic time!!!

"Sing" is fantastic and extremely well-made! Characters are vibrant, comical and compelling. Humor is appropriate for all ages and well paced along with the action throughout the story. The music is energetic and a definite crowd pleasers. I give this movie a big thumbs up and highly recommend for music lovers and families!

My whole family love this movie - obviously or I wouldn't be buying it! The story line of having courage and faith in yourself, supporting others, and picking yourself up and getting back out there etc is great and you just can't help singing along to the music. It's sweet, touching and funny. It's now firm family favorite.

This is an all star (voice) cast! The movie has a moral to it and bring it full circle. Love the songs and very singable even for someone who cannot carry a tune. Great for kids and adults alike. Recommend Sing. Best Buy ran a promotion so I got the Blu-ray edition for the price of what I would have paid for a non Blu-ray version.

Just to hear the name of the movie didn't thrill me or anything, but I saw a few clips on Youtube and that made me want to buy it. Some singing cartoons seem to focus TOO much on the singing portions and it takes away from the movie overall, but Sing had a pretty good story to go along with all the singing. There might've been once or twice where I could've done without it (particularly in places where they've built up certain characters and it wasn't all that great). It's still an entertaining movie overall and I give it 4 stars.

Sing is a really good movie. The kids have been watching it over and over again. Even as an adult I enjoyed it. I brought out an old microphone and amplifier for one of my sons to reenact some of the performances. He's been playing his guitar a lot more, and learning chords...all because of this movie. Highly recommended.

Since this movie came out about the same time as Trolls did, I thought that I would like it about as much as that movie, but I was mistaken. This movie is SO much BETTER than Trolls! The story grabs your heart as we all have aspirations, and the music is more endearing too. It is worth having in your collection.

We first went to see this movie in the theater and we loved it so much that we couldn't wait to add it to our home collection. Best Buy had the movie on sale for a great low price, so we couldn't pass up the deal! The movie was just as good the 2nd time we watched it and I'm sure we will be watching it numerous times again.

Well, Sing! really isn't a singing competition, but it is a movie about what is supposed to be one. Even though the competition is a bust, the characters are rich, the story is believable, and the music crushes it. My kids sing these songs constantly, but since most of them are "classics", I don't count that as a bad thing.

I bought this movie for my wife. When i bought it i didn't think that much about it, until i watched it. I was completely emursed into the movie and enjoyed the details and had a good time watching the show. I even watched all the extras and they were as entertaining as the main title. It's worth watching more than once.

This movie hits all the right notes. There are great song choices, sung by artists that can sing. There is also heart in there to be yourself and not try to fit into a heart shaped box. I can't sing high enough praise for this movie. It'll have you tapping your toes after watching. Please forgive all the puns. :)

I'm always skeptical about buying a movie before seeing it first, but this was a really GREAT exception. GREAT cast and amazing musical arrangement made it the perfect family movie. Something for all music lovers. My daughter loved it. We listen to the Soundtrack all the time and even skip back to our favorite scenes.

We rented this one a few months ago and watched it 3 times in one day. I knew I had to buy it for my daughter's birthday. The characters have such huge personalities that they pull you into the movie. Even my husband and teenage son love it! Great music - Ash's song still gives me goosebumps when I hear it!

One film I don't mind watching with my 3 year old again and again and again and again...Great animated story with lots of interesting characters and, most of all, incredible singing. Blu-ray has superb audio and video resolution plus comes with a digital copy so my toddler can take it on the go on his iPad Mini.

Funny thing about dreams: Everyone has them, yet so few actually achieve them. At least not permanently. Take Buster Moon, for instance. At the tender age of 6, the koala bear fell in love. The object of his ardor? The theater. Buster found himself mesmerized by the operatic prowess of one Nana Noodleman, a singer whose voice was a thing of captivating, wondrous beauty. So much so, in fact, that lil' Buster decided right then and there that he would one day own the theater where he'd heard her sing.

All I heard from my kids was that they wanted to see it, well after missing it in theaters, I picked it up and wasn't expecting much from it other than another animated kids movie, but I loved it. My kids loved it, and I was happy I picked it up. The Steelbook is also a nice touch for any collector out there.

Full of entertaining music, that made it fun for kids to watch too! I found myself on the edge of my seat because I was so engaged with the movie - and that doesn't happen often for me...not at all when the movie isn't action-based. I purchased it on faith I would enjoy it. Normally I don't purchase films I haven't seen prior, and definitely not if I don't plan on seeing the movie multiple times after. I will definitely watch this movie multiple times. I truly recommend this film to anyone!

Purchased this movie for my granddaughter, but the whole family enjoyed watching. It was funny and full of great music. I usually say "No" when she picks up random things while shopping, especially DVDs because we have cable and Netflix, but the price was so good I had to say "Yes" and I'm glad I did.

Despite positive reviews, I didn't watch this back when it first came out in theaters because the commercials didn't appeal to me. I bought the movie for my 3 year old and ended up loving it myself. The top-notch animation anchored by an excellent cast made the story and music all the more enjoyable.
