This was a replacement for a similar unit that I have had for almost 11 years at my vacation home in Pennsylvania. Due to age, the old one finally gave out (wires broke on antenna) and so I opted to replace the whole thing. The Home Kit makes it very easy to integrate your "portable" XM/Sirius radio to your mini-entertainment system in another room. Simple set-up, just need to figure out where to place the antenna.

This home kit for different Sirius radio models couldn't be easier to hook up to your home stereo system. Just follow directions. With a slight adjustment with the antenna, the reception is perfect. You don't have to put the antenna outside.

its great having satellite radio in the home, but not very fond of the antenna. You can only use it in one room at any one time unless you move everything to another room.

So far a wonderful product.really hoping to have no problems. Such a great sales person in the store and would definitely recommend this product to a friend.

Sirius is the best and the variety in stations is great! My puppy chewed up the antenna so we could not listen to our radio outside!

This is great for bringing subscription to home and office. I have this set up at my desk at work. Was disappointed that my new car did not include satellite radio and did not want to upgrade stereo immediately. The car kit was pretty inexpensive and the home kit was a nice addition so that I can keep using the radio once I upgrade my car stereo.

It's a good way to have xm in the house and cat with just one radio subscription. I can also move it to the garage or shop very easily.

Sirius made it so you have to buy all new stuff if you want to use radio in different locations

This is every thing you need to hook this radio to a sound system. Either computer speakers or a music system with a line in.

Buy one radio subscription. Save money by using one radio in house and car by having a vehicle dock and house dock.

Bought this for the house. Set up was simple. Problem was the reception. Moved it to several locations and it still cut in and out. Stuck it on a window, wall and even tried it outside. Still choppy. Had to return. It when it worked it was really nice. Disappointed

I needed a new xm radio as I was going away and wanted to set it up every thing worked great

The fact that you can review your trip, was the selling point of this unit, besides it being a Garmin.
