I love this radio, I had owned one of the original nosy radios, and it was very cheap. The first thing I noticed from this radio was if i tune to any of my favorite channels, it would let me rewind up to an hour (if the radio was on for the past hour) even if I had not been listening to that channel at all. It's like it records all of my favorite channels, and it can go to then whenever I want. This is a very nice feature, Because or it already remember my channels, this one switches to a new channel extremely faster than my old one. My only complaint is the high price, or how one week it's really cheap, and the next week it's right back up to $100

This unit is one of the nicest I have seen. Very easy install, simple to use, sounds great and has a ton of features. As good if not better than most units in a new vehicles from the factory.

I am very pleased with everything about this radio except that the screen font is smaller than I would like. That is the only negative, though. It is very easy to tune into stations, and you don't have the issue of trying to use a touch screen that isn't responsive such as the Lynx system had. The remote is one of the easiest ones they have ever made. Clearly this is a definite improvement over the past Sirius XM radios. I just wish the font were bigger on the screen.

This unit is great. I love the ease of using it. The box art of each artist is a great addition. Adding your favorite artist or groups to a Faves list is cool. That way you can listen to songs from just those added. Display is very easy to read in the light. Only thing I wish it had was a remote. It'd be super easy to use if that was possible. Only con I have is the audio is static a lot but if may be the fact I'm using an open FM station to use it. I definitely recommend this unit.

If your vehicle doesn't have SIriusXM built-in, this is a great radio. It offers all the bells and whistles like pause/rewind and alerts, and has a nice large screen to display all appropriate information. Just be careful if you already have a subscription. This is only compatible with XM subscriptions. Apparently there is a difference where Sirius subscribers before the merger have a different plan. Call customer service and complain if you run into this problem and they'll just send you a worse radio.

I use this Sirius portable receiver in my home and in my car and boat. It works great and makes it possible to have Sirius everywhere I go with only one subscription. I got the optional boom box to use at home and I also got an additional vehicle kit to use on my boat besides the one that came with the kit that's in my car. It's easy to install, the antenna is inconspicuous and the reception is great.

I was a little worried when I purchased this because of the mixed reviews. Once I installed it in my vehicle, I knew I made the right choice. One thing I did notice is that I get an attenna error when I have it hung up the clips that come with it. Yes, it was a little fraustrating but once I took the radio off the clips, I haven't had a single problem. So if you purchase this and have the same problem, you now know what to do.

This purchase was 5 stars all the way. Setting up an appointment for installation was a breeze. The installation took about 90 minutes and the cost was very reasonable. The radio itself is perfect. The only thing I would recommend is program your stations before you get on the road. The buttons are small so being still to program is a must. And Guys, read the directions first. Would definitely recommend this to a friend!

My car wasn't equipped with Sirius and if I had to listen to taylor swift one more time I was ready to crash my Mini Cooper into a wall. This unit is great, it's small and easy to use and navigate through with 10 programmable stations that you can easily click through and more with a few more clicks. Thankfully... I have not been subjected to miss swift since it has been installed.

I've had Sirius radio since 2006 and always have loved it. I've had several radios over the years. I upgraded to this radio from a Sirius Sporster 5 and am totally happy with my choice. The new radio has artist and song alerts like the Sporster 5 had but can hold up to 100. The Sporster 5 could only hold 30. Plus the new TuneMix, TuneScan and TuneStart features are fantastic as well as the full color display with Album Artwork. This radio is a big improvement and is much better than any radio I have had in the past, including factory installed car radios that were satellite ready. The factory radios just don't have the features of this radio. About a year and a half ago, I tried updating from my Sporster 5 to the the new at the time Lynx portable radio. That was a total disappointment. I had the Lynx for just a few days, returned it and re-activated my Sporster 5. This radio however, is a completely different story. I love it. About the only thing I can say negative is that the radio packaged with the car kit does not come with a remote I had to but a remote separately from TSS-Radio and it's the last generation remote not the newest one but it still works for 90% of the functions. Other than that, I am very , very happy!

It's a good receiver. The plastic used is very light weight, making feel like it can crumble. It lacks a remote like older models used to have. I do like the music mix feature. It selects music from your saved channels and plays songs as it airs, like a shuffle. The display is easy to read. If it had a remote easy 5 stars.

This Is a really great and easy solution to add Sirius to your vehicle! Works great set up was fast and easy! Decent size screen also!

I bought this to replace a very old Delphi XM receiver (first generation version of one of these) in my truck. The newer version is much nicer with the clear color display, as well as a nice auto-power-on feature which my old unit was lacking. It's smaller than my older unit as well. Sound quality and volume seems to be better than my old unit as well. There are other nice features like the optional score alerts and sports tickers, though you need the device mounted somewhere you can easily see it, unlike me where I have it down near the bottom of my center console.

I bought this radio for my wife for Christmas. She has an older model SUV with specs that do not allow easy installation of a new head unit. She absolutely loves this Onyx Plus unit. The functionality is great, you can rewind or pause good songs. It lets you preview songs that are on other stations and create a favorites list. It's easy to use, and the buttons are just the right size. In fact, I wish that the factory XM that came with my vehicle had as many options as the Onyx Plus version. I don't really like the idea of paying for radio, but since moving to Texas from the D.C. area it has been difficult to find a variety of great music, but SiriusXM radio is perfect for that. The Best Buy sales associate was also very helpful. The only con I have about the unit is that there are a lot of wires. However, we are going to take it to Best Buy to have them hardwire it to reduce the wire clutter.

My car unfortunately didn't come with the satellite radio built in even tho I have the model with a gps built in. I kept going back and forth about wanting to get this radio as it would take up more space in my car but I'm happy I did! I'm a person that loves a mixture of music and this is actually better than me having my phone hooked up having it on shuffle. There are so many categories and such a variety of music for the whole family to enjoy! It also shows the album cover to the song along with the title and artist and with the channels of each decade most show what year the song was released! I definitely recommend anyone looking to get a sirius radio to get this one it's definitely worth the money!

When I bought a new car I was put off at having to spend thousands on a higher body (upgrade) style just to get a factory SiriusXM radio. For less than $100 this Onyx Plus unit sounds just as good. Set up was easy, just follow the instructions. I plugged my unit into the AUX jack on the cars radio and the sound quality is very good. The Onyx plus is small, easy to use, and seems to be well designed and built. Highly recommended!

I bought this radio for my truck. I was very impressed on how easy this was able to install. I am happy I saved the money and decided to install it myself. I highly recommend this radio. It sounds great and it is recommended to be installed using the AUX input. The only negative is that I wish it had a remote. I have a Sirius Sportster Replay in my suv and I love that I can change the channel with the remote, whereas you have to search for the buttons on this radio. But overall I like the radio and the color display.

While disappointed I had to buy a new radio after the latest change in Siruis programming watering down a lot of the NHL broadcasts, I upgraded to the new Onyx Plus. At first glance, it looked nice, and had a bright color display. I did notice, however, that the new radio lacked many of the older features - presets and searches have been minimized and no remote control were two huge issues I had. I had to buy a remote separately, which was disappointing. The radio does work well, and other than the remote comes with everything needed. The upgrade to SiriusXM radio also gives additional channels.

After enduring long road trips with in/out radio stations, I purchased this item since my vehicle is not equipped with an onboard satellite feature. It has worked out so well, that I find myself using it during my local city driving. The online tutorial was very helpful with the antenna installation and channel listing. The additional features of notification of the day's playlist, ability to rewind, and ability to preset 20 channels is outstanding. The only con I have found is temporarily losing reception traveling through underpasses, tunnels, and large overhanging trees. I would definitely recommend this product as a way to enhance your radio enjoyment.
