Best sounding system for satellite radio I've ever used. Looks and sounds great sitting on a shelf under my TV. I've been a Sirius sub for over 10 years. This unit is way better than the older boomboxes. It can pump out the tunes with surprising deep bass and good mid and high range. The speakers are almost too high-end for satellite radio, as some channels are more compressed sounding than others and more noticeable. I use this speaker dock with the Onyx Plus, which can also pickup the new xtra channels in the 300s. The new xtra channels sound even clearer. You can also hookup your phone, tablet or TV using the front 3.5mm AUX input. I am using this speaker dock on a TV shelf in a 16'x15' bedroom and easily fills the room with awesome sounding music. It also doubles as a sound dock for my flat screen tv. TV shows and movies also sound great. I still can't believe the amount of bass that comes out of this dock. if you own a compatible SiriusXM radio this speaker dock is a must have!

Other that the fact that the free shipping supplier was Fedex, who left my radio out in the rain, even though I have a covered porch. The product itself sounds great, and I particulary like the new updated version. The ease of installing and removing my sirius radio into the docking station, and the new power button. The sound quality is very good as well.

Awesome speaker!! 1 subwoofer, 2 midrange, and 2 tweeter speakers create the best outdoor listening experience. Antenna wire is long enough to mount antenna for indoor use as well but the app there is little need for this speaker to be used indoors. Note that I used Velcro to affix the remote to the top.

Docking station is great with my portable siriusxm radio and the speakers on it sounds wonderful have no complaints on it.

A little background on my situation because I'm a little bored. . I bought a lifetime Sirius account in June of 2007, so at the time of writing I've the account for almost 12 years. I love Sirius and their excellent variety of music, entertainment, and sports radio. The initial radio I bought lasted about 10 years and the display started to glitch from me leaving it in the car in the 120 degree desert heat for a decade, so that's on me. I had a boombox that went with the old radio so I would occasionally bring it into the house. The problem with that radio or technology or whatever it was is that you needed to hang the antenna outside so it was an eyesore no matter how you did it. When my old radio was dying I called Sirius, paid $75 transfer fee and bought a new Onyx Plus receiver. This was a couple of years ago. I had the Onyx in my car the whole time and don't have any complaints about it as its a great receiver. Out of the blue I decide to purchase this boombox and I'm completely satisfied that I did. With the way my cell phone plan works (t-mobile) I can listen to Sirius on their app without worrying about data (not something that was exactly prominent in 2007) or download shows on demand (i.e. Stern show) and listen with my bluetooth in my car. I don't even need the car radio dock anymore, but I did purchase a 3rd party on that fits into the CD player that I NEVER use. Back to this boombox itself. I purchased and received it in 2 days as promised, although it didn't even come in a separate box but a label was plastered on the radio box itself. I don't exactly like Best Buy for doing that but thankfully it came in perfect condition. The ABSOLUTE best part of this radio is that, in my situation at least, I receive a signal with the antenna docked in the antenna bay on top of the radio. I don't know if its where I put my radio in my house (close to the back yard sliding door, but not next to it. about 6 feet away against a wall) but I have full satellite signal for the week I've been using it. It took MAYBE 20 minutes for the receiver/boombox to like each other and download whatever it needed so I received all the channels, as I initially didn't receive channel 300 and up. Now I get them all with zero interference or garbled nonsense UNLESS an object goes over the antenna but in my situation it didn't happen more than a couple of times so that's how I know what makes it turn garbled. As far as the sound I think it's great. I'm not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination. I don't know what the maximum volume is, but I'm able to hear the radio clearly from where it is to the living room about 30 feet away. I didn't even know this had a little subwoofer at the bottom until I unpacked the boombox and saw a sticker on it. It's not going to give you wall shattering bass but it does a good job of giving depth to the music, although if you listen to hip-hop it does get distorted at higher levels. I listen to hiphop and rock (turbo and fly channels) and I don't have any complaints with hearing the music and enjoying it. My one and only complaint is that it doesn't have a bluetooth option. It's not a deal breaker as I have a few different bluetooth speakers but sometimes I hear a song and I'm reminded of an album and would like to listen to the album. I have to go find a bluetooth speaker or listen through my phone's speakers. It does have an AUX port but for iPhone X users like myself, it doesn't work since there aren't any headphone ports on the iPhone anymore. I personally dont care because I have AirPods and probably wouldn't want to have a cable dragging from my phone to the radio, but missing bluetooth in this day and age is a little bit of a bummer but certainly not worth deducting a star. I was able to price match Best Buy with Walmart using the chat function and it was quick and painless. I paid $80 plus tax (about $87) and have listened to at least 40 hours in the week I've had it. That's how much I use and enjoy this radio. Under $100 I would definitely recommend if you have an Onyx. If it's higher than $100 I would wait for a sale. It's still worth it but don't overpay if you dont have to.

Put your SiriusXM radio on your dock and enjoy your favorite channels at home. This dock is by far the best out there. I gave an older one at my home and this new one is at my daughters home. The antenna doesn’t even need to be placed in a window to pick up stations. The sound is solid. Plug and play. Just don’t let the remote walk away as you do need it to operate it. Plugs into the wall or runs on batteries.

Sound quality is wonderful, being able to take anywhere is great

This portable speaker doc is great, very stylish, looks great in my office and sounds even better than it looks, and portable also, I am very happy with this purchase. I strongly recommend this for anyone who needs something like this.

We grew tired of the tablets or phones running through a Bluetooth speaker and they run out of battery power. We simply plug the Sirius Onyx player we installed with a car dock and we’re ready to go. The sound from the speakers is far better than we expected and the auxiliary input jack still provides an open for us to use our tablets if we want to play or stream from other sources. The wired antenna is long enough to move above our deck and grab a strong signal and still have a the speakers out of the way. Finally the wireless remote works great and allows changing channels rewind etc and adjusting volume a breeze.

I basically purchased this item so I would not have to continue to use the small portable wireless speakers anymore. I could not stand all the wire tangling all over the place, plus I always had to charge when ever I needed to use it. This portable speaker dock works perfectly no extra wires and no recharging necessary. Also the sound is great and I love the fact that I can carry out whenever I need music outside any where. Works great outside any where. I love it. Best purchase. Very Happy

I purchased the portable home radio for SiriusXM and have to say that I am quite pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend it. I was actually there for a car installation and Andy, the tech, recommended the radio and I am glad he did. It was far superior to other one I purchased previously. It has a rich deep tone and the the sub-woofer is a great addition to the radio. It adds to the enjoying of listening to the radio. It wasn't over expensive either at a $149 plus tax..

The absolute best device I’ve ever bought, It sounds fantastic, the base is incredible, the music sounds sensational. If you do not have this device in your home, or in your car or on the beach you are missing out on a fantastic experience.

No problems with speaker dock system is working great and Sirius Xm radio receving well

We have a Stratus 7 Sirius radio with a home kit that we use at the pool during the Summer. After a couple of years the dock broke and we wanted something that directly connected the radio instead of fumbling with all the cords. This fits the bill perfectly! We can keep the radio docked, the antenna is connected to it or can be taken off and the sound quality is wonderful. I originally found this on the Sirius XM website but Best Buy had it cheaper. Definitely recommend.

Just for some background, I purchased this unit because of its portability (for moving from inside the house to the back yard or the garage) and because it has been around for a while (a version of this speaker dock was first debuted for Sirius several years ago). The unit has impressed me a great deal. It is indeed portable, but also sturdy, and the sound it puts out is very high quality. It has strong bass (which I like), but also very nice mid and high tones. Volume is robust while keeping music definition clear. Satellite reception is really good; I do not know if the technology has advanced in this area in recent years, but this unit has much better reception than similar units of 10 to 15 years ago. In summary, I was very happy with this purchase and this speaker dock is highly recommended.

This little gem came at a great time with everything going on with Covid-19. 2 Days after purchase, was relegated to working from home. This system gets me through the day, along with the portable Sirius unit that I had installed (at Best Buy) in the truck. Sounds great, and reception is excellent.

If you are a XM subscriber, you need this ! This dock is made well & has very good sound quality. Comes with antenna and 10 plus feet of cord . I bought some batteries but have not tried it out just yet so I can't say how long it will run unplugged. It has enough sound to fill our room and then some . Comes with a remote and works all the radio features.

I have a siriusxm portable dock and play. I needed to be able to play my xm music in my motorhome as well as in my home. With this speaker docking station, I can enjoy the same quality of sound in the motorhome that I get at home. My husband and I are very pleased with this purchase. I was also able to use bonus points which made it less expensive than buying it on line.
