SISTERS staring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler is absolutely HILARIOUS!! This is the funniest movie I have seen in a very long time! I wasn’t able to go see this in theater, so I was excited to be able to buy the Blu Ray. There is a LOT of explicit language, but it’s freaking hilarious! I would recommend this movie 100% It reminded me of the parties I use to throw when I was in high school when my parents went away. I had the whole house to myself and huge parties. This movie was so much like my life. So if you like movies with lots of laughs and that is one big party this one is for you.

Sisters probably won't go down as a genre classic -- its burdensome and uneven first half all but ensures that -- but it's a lot of fun once it gets rolling. A terrific lead tandem and a strong supporting cast accentuate the movie's finest qualities and story themes. Universal's Blu-ray release comes packed to the gills with featurettes, deleted and extended scenes, and an audio commentary. Picture quality is great and sound is fine. Recommended.

Tina Fey and and Amy Poehler are two of the funniest ladies on this planet. The Unrated version is extremely raunchy. They play sisters who fight constantly. Underneath all the antics there is heart. Both sisters discover their parents are selling the home they grow up in. They decide to have one last party in the house without their parents knowledge. This is a party to beat all parties. Most of their SNL friends show up. Don"t miss it and ignore the critics.

I find Tina Fey and Amy Poehler funny, so I was expecting this movie to be hilarious... It had it's funny parts, but wasn't what I was hoping for in the end. It lacked their usual original comedian spark. I wouldn't pay full price for it, but if you can purchase it at a reasonable price under $15 then sure.. (as long as you're a fan of Tina and Amy).

I wanted to like this movie as I love the cast but the writing is lazy

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, what more could you ask for? Not sure I’ve seen a movie with these two I didn’t enjoy. Two grown sisters acting like teenagers? I can definitely relate some days. A few good laughs and touching at times. Definitely a must see if you enjoy these two!

It seems like Amy Poehler and Tina Fey could really be sisters. It's interesting that they sort of swap the usual dynamic with Tina being the more outlandish and Amy being the more level-headed one, but together they are magic. The bring in a lot of their favorite comedy friends too. Super fun.

Over the last 5 years I have not been able to laugh at a new comedy movie. Most of the comedies that have come out either have 1 funny part or is so stupid maybe my generation had so many laughing so hard you cried and peed your pants a little then your sides would ache the next day this movie is just like that great writers to grasp the 40-45 age groups meaning of funny.

I thought I was in trouble and being forced to watch a chick flick with the wife, but it actually was entertaining. I laughed and the chemistry between Poehler and Fey was great. I wish I would have just rented it from Redbox, but at least the wife can watch it over and over if she likes.

I was somewhat disappointed with this movie. I thought it would be a gut buster, given the cast, but I found it to be just mediocre. There was some funny parts but it took sometime to even be interested in wanting to watch the movie!! Had high hopes for this one but it fell short.

My wife and I initially watched this on cable and both enjoyed it so much we recorded it on our dvr and also decided to purchase the DVD so my wife can watch it with her sister. Really enjoyable storyline and both lead parts were played so well by both actresses it was a very good movie and one that we would definitely recommend to anyone.

It's a comedy that works because Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Maya Rudolph play so well off one another. It's unsubtle, over-the-top, slapstick humor in which a whole house is destroyed in the girls partying. But all ends well for everybody, as it should in a good comedy.

Two disconnected sisters are summoned home to clean out their childhood bedroom before their parents sell the family house. Looking to recapture their glory days, they throw one final high-school-style party for their classmates, which turns into the cathartic rager that a bunch of ground-down adults really need.
