I think this is a special tool--I am a woman who wants to attempt big projects but feel sometimes using a Utility Knife is dangerous---NOT with this knife--comfortable--best safety features I have ever seen. A++

For the money, you cannot find a better quality utility knife for the price - I got this as a "Deal of the day". Cost about the same as the "plastic" utility knives, but this is much better quality

Great cutter; sharp enough to cut through thick plastic. Easy to fold, open, & to change the blade when needed. Just wish I could've purchased 5 at this price instead of the limit of 3!

The Skil - Retractable Folding Utility Knife feels very tough and has a great feel in your hand while cutting. However, it is bigger than most folding cutters and takes up more room in a small tool bag. Basically it is bigger than I thought it would be but that makes it feel stronger when using it.

I got this knife as a deal of the day. It looks and works awesome. It's really sturdy and it looks like a well made professional tool, plus it cuts cardboard boxes like a charm.

I've had a craftsman retractable knife for 15 years, and with facing a move I thought a second one would be handy to have as you do the packing and unpacking. Not true with this Skil blade. It's about 15% bigger than the craftsman, which fit my hand perfectly. This one is awkward to hold.You feel like it's going to go flying across the room because you don't have a hold on it. If you have big manly hands, this is your baby. But if not, it might be dangerous. On the upside, it has a whole bunch of safety features, such as retractable blade with lock, that would make it difficult for a child to open up and cut themselves.

Way cheaper than amazon and Skil makes a very good and durable product. The compactness and ability to fold is unique. Who knew besbiy sold these!?

Got this set for my boat and should have gotten another on for the camper or truck! Got it on a deal of the day so can't beat the price!

I work using my blade about 50 times in 8 hours. I've had problems with blades in the past keeping up. This blade fits snugly in my pants poker with it's belt clip and it is made of a metal substance so it survives a fall or someone stepping on it by accident. I haven't had any problems with the blade slipping out yet and it's been over a month. I recommend this product to people who use it for work or just at home. My friends at work all want one.
