I was disappointed that they are not large, over the ear cups. That being said, the sound is extraordinary! I plug into tv and can crank to the max for music performances. The sound does not distort, and the full room sound, intricate clarity is amazing. Also at extreme low volumes is super clear. Yes the ear cups ride on the tops of my ears, but the ultra soft compliant faux leather is extraordinarily comfortable. I wear glasses and this on the ear is usually an issue w/ headphones, limiting my wear time. I used for 10 hours today, and feel quite comfortable. I did get the , Deal of the Day Price; so these are a KEEPER!

The look of these Skullcandy headphones caught my eye. Cool that you can see into the components, and the brown/gold color is striking. It had been years since buying headphones so I wanted quality and style for a reasonable price. The $150 was more than I had intended to spend, but the look won me over. They sound great, can be folded to fit in included case, and are super comfortable. And you can use w/iPhone. Recommended.

bought some skull candy headphones on bestbuy deal of the day! they were half price, so i think i got a great deal on some really good looking and sounding headphones. although it did take about a month for me to get them after purchasing online. but worth the wait

These "cans" are probably about the best sound for under 500 dollars that can be heard from a headphone. I own headphones costing over 1,000 dollars that require specialized headphone amplifiers to drive them correctly for my home entertainment, but needed a set for my iPOD, not only did these fit the bill, but provided sound on par to some of my upper end studio phones. The opaque plastic caps allow viewing the internal structure and the gold hardware provides even more eye candy. My only complaint is the opening in the storage bag seems a little restrictive to getting the headphones in and out of, so you have to be careful removing them. These phones sound great and are very reasonable on your wallet.

These aviator head phones are so awesome. They sound great, and I think the look is a perfect combination of retro and modern..

Bought these for my husband he uses them every day.. Tried other brands that cost more did not like...stylish and comfortable .. Highly recommend

I got these thru the GMA Promo. They are so worth it! They have a deep, rich sound. I was surprised that the outside noise was louder than expected...but the sound quality makes up for it.

i like these. retro, and i wanted something with good sound.. but not 250 dollars like some high end phones

I knew I had to have these as soon as I saw them on Skullcandy's website. Swung by the local BestBuy and swooped up the last pair. Strangely enough, I never used the ipod function on my iphone at all until these fantastic headphones became a part of my daily life. The retro styling will turn heads. Holding them in your hands feels like you've got some kind of futuristic yet vintage style movie prop. Very high quality leather and metal construction. The polycarbonate lenses covering the back of the phones are just like what you'd find on a pair of aviators for that classic cool look. On the ear pads you'll find that the supple, leather wrapped memory foam makes wearing these an absolute dream! Skullcandy really did go the extra mile with the smaller details of this model. The braided cord allows for a mostly tangle-free experience as well as being aesthetically pleasing. The in-line mic has excellent pick up quality and hangs at just the perfect length so you don't need to hold anything up to your face so your friends can hear you. Controls feel sturdy as well and offer everything you need. Volume control as well as skipping between songs and answering calls is a breeze. The buttons on the built in mic offer great response and a nice tactile click. Bottom line, if you want a fantastic pair of headphones that sound as good as they look, pick one of these up as fast as you can.

I think this one is better than Beats Studio. I love it and I love the price when it was a deal.
