At first I thought they were just a glorified pair of crushers but as the days went on these cans definitely stood by their advertisement! If you love bass these cans are it! The way I can describe the sound is If you were standing next to concert speakers at a congregation hall. The only major downside is if you plug these bad boys in to an aux the performance isn't anywhere close. Even if you turn on the power. All you'll get is a bass boost but in low volume.

If you love powerful bass packed into a headphone, this is the one for you. Very comfortable style and great sound as well. Nothing compares to the bass you can “feel” hear, it literally vibrates your head.

    Bass Packing Headset

The new Skull Candy Crusher 360 is a headset that breaks away from the conventional Skull Candy design and offers long lasting battery life with heavy bass dropping beats that can be felt. The blu tooth design and optional 3.5 mm jack means that this can be played both wireless or on a depleted battery via your aux cable. This headset is very beautiful looking and while it has a few cool features it may not be for everyone. Hopefully this review will help in your decision making when it comes to rather or not you should buy this headset. First thing i want to say is i have owned some skull candy headsets in the past and while the price has usually been on point for the conscious buyer i have never truly been a big fan. This headset however has me re-thinking skull candy. Out of the box this is a very beautiful looking and durable headset. The plush cushion tan ear pieces give this design a very elegant look. The head band is also very thin and flexible providing comfort and durability which i don't think can be matched. I was able to literally twist the headset band like a pretzel with no damage to the structure. While this isn't the most comfortable headset i have tried it isn't the worse either. I had little to no discomfort while wearing this headset on a 5 hour plane ride. Skull Candy is claiming about 29 hours of continuous battery life on a full charge and what i can tell you is that on a full stretch with bass at 75% i got roughly 32 hours of battery life. This is pretty impressive to see it surpass its claimed life and by far the longest lasting battery life headset i have ever tested. The fact that this headset also uses a USB-C drive charging port means that on a 15 minute charge you can expect to get about roughly 3 to 4 hours of battery life. If you deplete the battery you have nothing to worry about as this device can be played on a dead charge via the provided 3.5 mm cable. Now there are a few interesting features on this headset that kind of stood out to me. First off the volume and playback controls i thought were bulky and kind of ugly looking. On first glance the controls reminded me of a video game controller as the volume control looks exactly like the D-Pad on a ps4 controller. Not a big deal but just something that stood out to me right out of the box. On the left ear cup there is a built in touch sensor which controls your base features with LED lights to let you know bass setting. If you want more bass simply swipe up on the left ear cup and if you want less bass swipe down. As you swipe up or down the LED lights will illuminate letting you know exactly how little or how much bass you have. Now you can also answer calls on this headset and while call function is available there is no built in Siri or Google assistant. Now lets get in to the real meat of this headset and talk about just how good this headset sounds. The sound quality is actually really good. At mid bass volume everything seems to come in very equal and sounds crystal clear. There appear to be equal distribution between my highs and mids with out the bass taking away from either one. Vocals were crisp and clean with almost no bleed through from ambient sound. The opposite is a little different however. Once i pushed the headset past 60% i started to notice some bleed out with the headset. My wife commented to me that she could hear my music with my headset on. Now lets take a step back and talk about the bass on this headset. At full bass power this becomes a bass monster putting out so much bass that you actually feel the headset vibrate and the speakers reverberate as they push themselves to deliver everything they have to offer. This is without a shadow of a doubt one the hardest hitting bass headsets i have ever put on. At full power the bass was so over powering that it overshadowed my vocals and the rest of my beats. Its not that i couldn't hear them its just the bass was definitely the stronger one of the bunch. This headset is with out a doubt geared towards bass heads as this should be enough bass to satisfy any lover out there. At full bass the best way i can describe what it felt like was being in a car with two 12" subs in the trunk and me sitting in the back seat right in front of them. At times i felt like i could almost feel the bass hitting my chest. The fact that you have a touch control on the fly for the bass volume means that you can adjust it to meet whatever song may be playing. Too much bass? Simply turn it down to 25% or lower. Here's my final verdict. While this headset may not be for the avid lover of music who wishes to take in everything the artist has to offer this will definitely please those looking for a big bass drop. The long battery life means that is great for those who like to listen to music with little down time for charging. The noise bleed through may not make it ideal for those who travel alot. However if your a person who loves big bass hitting tracks and have been disappointed due to the lack of headsets that cant put the power out your seeking, then look no further for this will be the perfect headset for you. Pros: -Extremely long battery life -Quick charge time -Adjustable bass setting Cons: -Sound bleed through -Bass over powers at max setting

    Great Build, Okay Sound

First of all, the bass! For what it advertises to do, it succeeds. The bass is booming and the headphones themselves feel very premium and comfortable. I’ve yet to be more impressed by a pair of headphones build quality, more so than these. The price however, is an issue. Yes, these things are for bassheads but for 300 bucks, you can easily get great bass plus noise canceling from the Sony 950N1 for less. Admittedly I grabbed these for 200 during a sale so it was a little easier to justify. All of that said, I did end up returning and exchanging this product. Again, the bass was fun and the build was awesome but the sound leak was very loud as the actual sound of the headphones is kind of silent, and that’s with me putting the bass at around 40% because putting it to the full 100% is a bit overkill. Even at 40%, the sound was mediocre and quite silent I felt at times. Not to mention there is no dedicated noise canceling function for these headphones, it became obvious these would not do what I was hoping they would do, which was allow me to wear them at work without distracting others. Again, these were a fun pair of headphones but unless you’re getting them for a sale, it’s tough to justify. The build quality is great but with the premium feel of the headphones it’s tough to even think about the idea of wearing them to the gym or something and potentially ruining them. The leaves you with really only wearing them at home and for that, it’s up to you if you think that’s worth $300. That said I would recommend these if they go on sale, but they do definitely come with a warning label.

The cushion is very soft and the design is very inviting. Personally, I'm a fan of SkullCandy headphones and the Crusher series is my favorite. The 360 wireless has boosted sound quality over the standard Crusher/Wireless. There is a slight niche appeal of feeling the bass via vibrations adjusted by using your finger to slide up/down to preference. I suggest listening to 8d audio at least once utilizing these. The experience was amazing!

    An Experience Like No Other

SkullCandy Crusher 360 An experience like no other Packaging The first thing you notice with the Skull Candy Crusher 360 is the weight of the box and how well they are packaged. When you open the box, you are presented with a rubber-like plastic traveling case and inside this is the most interesting pair of headphones I’ve ever seen. Build The build is a solid mix of metal, plastic and pleather-wrapped foam for the ear cups and head band cushion. The headband adjustment is smooth and stays put. Battery Life The crusher arrived needing charged. I plugged it into my computer USB and in about 10 minutes, I unplugged them and paired with my phone. The multi-purpose LED’s are red and flash sequentially to show the charging progression. They all turn green when charging is complete. Skullcandy says the Crusher 360’s have 29 hours of battery life and a quick 10 minute charge will get you 3 hours. Crusher 360’s also ship with an aux cable which you can use when you don’t have Bluetooth or when your battery is dead. The cord has volume and track controls along with a microphone for phone calls. Fit/comfort The Crushers fit is snug and comfortable, just as a premium headset should feel. The memory foam cushions and ear cups feel like butter. While these headphones are not noise-canceling, they do an amazing job of keeping outside sound to a minimum. Sound I have to say I was a little thrown by the sound of these headphones when I first heard them. The experience of the sensory bass is like nothing I’ve ever heard. I found it difficult to differentiate what at first seems to be a manufactured bass feel and the actual bass of the music. This was easily resolved by adjusting the bass level to match the sound and now I’m hooked! The adjustment is made by sliding your finger up and down the left ear cup. You can also see the level in the LED’s as well. The Crusher’s also do a fine job with high’s and mid’s as well. I would have liked to see an app for these that provides a little more customization for the sound and bass levels similar to several other manufactures. There is an included aux cable that can be used if the battery goes bad or to connect to a non-Bluetooth device like an older iPod. The cable has a microphone that can be used for phone calls, a button to play, pause and change tracks and a slider volume control. Mine came with the volume slider down and my first thought was that it was broken so keep this in mind if you use it. Also, you can use the aux cord with the headphones powered on to get the pounding bass as well. Overall I am really impressed with the Skullcandy Crusher 360’s. If you are looking for literal head-pounding sound and knock-your-socks off volume, I can’t recommend these enough. The Skullcandy website says these are a limited edition so don’t miss out and pick yours up quick.

The size makes them difficult to loose- bonus as I loose ear pods monthly. The sound when connected without the base boost is solid. When that base boost is on, you feel it! The ear cushions retain heat and are heavy so they aren't great for moving around a lot. Music with heavy bass lines seem to blow out the headphones but the level is adjustable. Overall it’s a very expensive but fun set of headphones. I doubt I would replace them at this price if they broke.

Skullcandy did it again great headset for mobile phone music listening with the Bluetooth and the bass is incredible and can change on the fly with a slide of your finger on the side. Well worth the money i paid for it. Durability and ease of the folding ear muffs makes putting it in bags easy if not using the traveling case.

Just received my SkullCandy Crusher 360 Wireless headphones. These are one of the best sound producing headphones I've ever tried before. First off I must say that I love the color scheme of these headphones. The tan/black colors gives this set a very mature/luxurious look about them. Upon opening the case you will find a zippered pouch which houses the headphones; the inside top section of the zippered pouch also contains a miscro-usb cable as well as an audio cable with volume controls. On the inside of the inside flap is a velcroed pouch containing the user manual and 2 slick SkullCandy stickers (great for covering a laptop, or a Yeti cup, etc.). Powering up these headphones are as simple as pressing the button on the backside of the left ear cuff. The lights quickly turn to the pinkish/purplish color and then switches to blue which places it in pairing mode. If you've ever connected to any device via Bluetooth before then connecting to the headphones should be pretty easy. You can also turn off the headphones using the same button on the left ear cuff. Also on the left cuff, which is like my favorite feature is the ability to control the amount of bass pumping out of the cuffs. Simply slide your finger up through the middle of the left ear cuff on the outside and it increases the bass. Very nice touch. And sliding back down decreases the bass as well. On the backside of the right ear cuff is the volume controls identified as a + o and minus buttons. The +/- are self-explanatory but o button in the middle like a pause and play button. One thing that I love about these headphones are the minimalist controls. Very easy to reach without all the extra buttons that I've come across on other brands of headsets. The headset is expandable with the left and right ear cuffs being able to slide out and adjusted to the users preferred size. Sound quality is amazing, though I wish it was a tad louder, though this is not a deal breaker for me. These headphones are of great build quality as well as sound clarity. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a nice pair of headphones without all the extra non-essential controls that other sets clutter there cuffs with.
