They sound great, awesome base too! I have some hearing loss from chemotherapy treatment, and I can hear great on these. The only issue would be that they would be hot to wear on a sunny day outside.

My first Impression of the headphones was, that they were fearless. While I like the foldable ear cups the headphone provide for safe transport, the arch for the head phones are plastic, and have me worried about them breaking. The look of the headphone itself is not bad and I love the fact that their are different kinds of color scheme I can choose from. As advertised on the box " Warning: Bass you can feel!" Skullcandy delivers Thinks to the help of two sound drivers, Hearing songs with good audio quality help deliver that awesome bass beat. As, I'd touched on briefly on the sound quality, The bass function comes in handy for those who are realy into their music. (audiophile) Some songs I'd played had a crystal clear. You can almost identify every instrument and melody in a song. This can be useful for people who are into gutair or other strong instrument that's heavenly used in songs. When it comes to using it on the smartphone, the Skullcandy Crushers delivers. The built in Mic works very well with almost clear voice quality and the Crushers work well with my android phone and tablet, both of which ar running on Android 4.4 KitKat. The one click button touch for answering calls and changing song selection was difficult at first but with time you can get used to it. Overall, The Skullcandy Crushers are a very good pair of headphones for a reasonable price If your looking for headphones, like Beats, but don't want to pay the expensive price for them your next best bet is Skullcandy and the Crushers. If you just care about the music, then these headphones are for you.

I been looking for a good pair of headphones that can deliver that sound like if your at a nightclub hearing your favorite DJ performing live. If you listen to Trance such as Armin, John O' Callaghan, Sean Tyas, Simon Patterson, Arctic Moon, Jordan Suckley, Aly & Fila and more in that genre, EDM, Dubstep, House and Hip Hop. This headphone is for you! Every time I listen to these guys podcast shows on my ipod touch, these make them sound like I'm literally at the club listening to them live and sitting on the clubs speakers feeling the music. I put these headphones on my co workers and friends ears and they all was amazed and literally brought them for themselves. I know there is better headphones out there that give better quality sound (if your a audiophile) but if your looking for headphones that aren't to expensive and deliver that live club sound and sound quality is good . GET THEM! I never felt bass like this before, basically the sensation driver in these cans vibrate, making you or you can say tricking your brain thinking the headphones have bass but they dont really, its pretty unique how this driver works. the highs are great, the mids are ok but there is something missing these cans i believe is in the mids and i also think they missing that tight bass kick. but the bass delivers amazing sub sound like a car sub or club speaker sub. Another awesome thing they do not distrort at all at maximum volume. I first use the headphones on a old phone i had that isnt a smartphone and these didn't sound good the bass went in and out so i got the ipod and that changed the ballgame..everything sounds awesome. Video games sound AMAZING in these and also movies. I feel like I'm in the video game and the movie theatres. In my opinion for the amount of money these headphones are worth it for the price Bestbuy has them for. I see too many people rocking beats for 300 bucks and there headphones out there for that much that sound 20x better and are the real deal for music. Basically your paying for the name BEATS. Skullcandy impressed me with Crushers upgrade.

These headphones are what I had in mind when i purchased them. You can adjust the bass levels very easily and a AA battery powers the bass. I suggest when not using your headphones, take out the battery to save battery life. A very crisp sound, even with the bass lowered it sounds decent. I use to it to play video games and you feel the rumble of explosions and gunfire and video game sound track sounds exceptional. Music sounds amazing from Ambient to Punk Rock. Construction is great, the ear pads are comfortable and my ears don't hurt from wearing them for hours. They're adjustable to for your big noggin. :) I would recommend these if love you deep bass and are ok with adjusting bass levels. Works for video games (Connected to TV) and listening to music on Mp3 players, Iphones, home stereos and computers. Not sure about Home Recording Studios though.

As soon as I picked up the display model and heard the roaring bass I knew I was going to buy a pair. While the headphones do have flaws, it's definitely a unique listening experience. Pros: -Unmatched "bass you can feel" experience -Secure feel when worn -Comfortable headband -Sound quality is above average -Aux cord is detachable! -Aux cord is pretty thick and has an in-line mic and control button -Adjustable Cons: -Cheap feel -Bass effect does not kick in if sound is too low -No battery life indicator Unfortunately the overall feel of the headphones is a little cheap and being that i'm very big on material design I wasn't too pleased but it's not at the point where it takes away from the listening quality or comfort. The headphones fold/collapse so it's a bit easier to store. It's adjustable and when you put them on they feel secure so for most people it should be comfortable. The headphones do come with a carrying pouch but it might as well not cause its not convenient or protective. The aux cable that comes with it is pretty sturdy and the mic works fine however I wish there was a volume up/down button rather that the one button pause, play, change track options. I haven't ever been a fan of overear/overhead headphones at all but the crusher definitely changed that.

Great bass that you can hear and feel! Mixed with good highs and crisp vocals these skull candy head phones are a great bang for your buck. I checked out Dre studios which had a slightly better all around sound and just a touch more comfortable to wear. But Dre's were over $300 and these awesome skull candy headphones where well under $100 so it was a no brainier for this choice. I've had this brand before and lost them somewhere but my old pair lasted for years and I expect the same long lasting quality with these.

Read the reviews before going to store they were on display I also checked the beats studio but the crusher really did crushed the beats awesome sound great bass It looks like It's better built fits on my ears just perfect The beats look cheap and overpriced but the sound is not bad I didn't have to think twice I immediately bough the crushers so since they are great buy a pack of rechargeable batteries that way u don't have to waste money on buying those one time use battery isn't in a best buy??

These headphones are kind of tricky. On one hand, they do provide great sound quality and thumping bass. On the other, they feel cheaply made and require a battery to make the bass work. The bass itself is fine, but it's really not as great as you would be lead to believe. The headphones more or less trick you into enjoying them by making it so that you can feel the bass rather than hear it. I don't know, I feel like for the price there should be better out there. On the upside, they are definitely pretty comfy, have a carrying bag, and have a mic for use with your phone (if you do that sort of thing). Overall I give them a 7/10. They're good, but not that good.

This set of headphones was EXACTLY what I needed at a good price. I have some rowdy co-workers so I needed a headset that would block out noises, be comfortable enough for all day wear and have good sound. These block out noises so well I miss people talking to me and I'm no longer plagued by my noisy co-workers because I can't hear them! Even without music on, it's hard to hear much around me, which i love. My music sounds great though these! The bass control works fantastic. These feel great too! They fit OVER/AROUND my ears, not on top of them like another headset I tried and found uncomfortable. The padded fit around my ears feels great, even after 6-8 hours of wearing them. The top of the headset has a rubbery cushion that I really appreciate and makes these extra comfortable. I do wish it was a little bit more padded like some others I tried on, but those headsets were also much more expensive. Last, it is fine for me (actually preferrable) that this item is not wireless -- just thought I'd mention it.

Very comfortable. Works without battery as well. If u like to hear very loud than dr dre beats is the best but this one gives u effect in even slow volume so when u watch movies it's feel like u r in theatre. I believe no one gonna hear at full volume for long time so this one is the best. On dr dre beats headphone u can only feel vibration on full volume but this one u can feel that effect on slow volume as well. I love this headphone. Beats doesn't works without battery while this one works without battery as well. A++++++++

I listened to these at another dealer (Best Buy display was down). I bought the wireless hesher thinking they were Skullcandy and would be similar. Had to exchange them for the Crushers because the sound difference was worth giving up wireless. The adjustable bass comes in handy for different music. I really like that the cord is a separate replaceable cord because what always goes wrong with your headphones? A short circuit or broken wire in the cord. Definitely a good deal for the money.

I own a pair of beats solo. Always enjoyed them. My son wanted a pair for his birthday. He was turning eleven so I was trying to find him a less expensive alternative that he would still feel like was quality. Well these did the trick and then some. Sound quality is great! The bass increase is awesome and of course my son's favorite part. To me these are way more comfortable then my beats. Great cushions and pillow style ear covers. My wife loves them and I ended up buying her a pair!

They have great sound and the bass adjusting is good, fit well and comfortable, headphone part feels sturdy and have held up well, nice looking, but the cord connecting the head phone to the device some times bends funny and it doesn't sound right but it can be easily fixed by adjusting it, I would like it to be stronger and have better connector in the cord to reduce this problem, good head phones

These headphones are really awesome. The sound quality is amazing! I love that I can turn on or off the bass, should i wish, and that i can select how much bass I wish to hear. I also love that the cord can disconnect from the headphones so that it is easier to store and I a am less likely to damage the sound on my headphone.

It's a really neat concept. I've tried other headphones in the past that help you feel the bass. These guys have it figured out. They are comfortable and sound nice. I don't listen to hip hop or music that would probably be most enjoyed with these. However, it adds to any music genre. Try them out in the store, if they have a display. That's what sold me.

I LOVE these headphones. You can turn up the bass if you want and it sounds great. It is like driving in a car with a good sound system in it. However, if you want to keep the bass low then you can turn it down for casual listening. The headphones fit comfortably and are light weight.

I found it a bit annoying to remove a battery from the compartment, but you'll only have to do that roughly every 40 hours of playback time... If I was you I'll go pick one up! You'll be happy that you did. If you don't like that takes Battery get some rechargeable batteries.

I love the sound these make. And the adjustable bass they will blow you away when you really want to feel the music. When turned up I can only handle its intensity for short periods before turning it back down. Very happy with the way they fit and feel also.

I purchased these after my beats stopped working. I had the studio versions and for $300 plus they should have lasted longer than they did. Thankfully I had a warranty and since they couldn't be repaired I was refunded the full purchase price. I went to Best Buy looking to replace my headphones but didn't want to break the bank. I have had skull candy ear buds in the past and they did the job until one side would stop working. I was able to listen to these in store before I purchased and they sounded pretty great. I asked the associate would this be the route to go if I wanted quality sound without the price, he said yes. There is a switch that you can control the bass which is nice. I like the bass so the more the better. Overall they are pretty solid.
