Great Little Set of Wireless Ear Buds

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I was so excited to receive these wireless earbuds. I know the brand well because I have had Skullcandy Headphones in the past and they make great products. It was time to try a wireless set. First of all, the design is really innovative and unique. I love how small they are and the color is great. Black is a great color. The size of the earbuds is perfect. I love the case that they come with. It fits the earbuds perfectly and will fit easily in your pocket or jacket. I was pleasantly surprised that they fit well in my ears, and I had no problem keeping them in. They fit snug, and I wasn't worried that they would fall out. Now to the sound quality. It was easy to connect it to my phone to listen to my music. In no time they were up and running. Very easy to do and anyone can do it with no problem. The sound quality was great. It was clear and crisp. If you have never had wireless earbuds or just want to try them this set will not disappoint. You will love these earbuds. The price is reasonable and you are getting a great deal for your money. I love them, and I am sure you will too.

Guard these or your teen might steal them!

I originally wanted these earbuds for myself, as every time I get a decent pair my teenager takes them because she either loses hers or needs an upgrade, lol. so I wasn't quite surprised when after my initial look through with them and doing a hearing test on them, that they disappeared and wound up in her ears! What we both found was that they are easy to use, easy to charge, and easy to take care of! From the initial setup; which is basically take out of the box, charge, and auto-connect to your device ( how easy is that? ), They were a breeze to use. After the initial setup, there was no fiddling as the volume was perfect, our devices held them without dropping, and more importantly, they stayed well set in the ear and didn't move around or bounce out. No matter what my daughter was doing, dancing running, or sitting in her room and moving around a lot, they stayed put. That's a first and no surprise that with the quality sound that these offer, she was reluctant to give them back to me. It's funny that I bought her a four times as expensive pair for Christmas and yet these are the pair she prefers! These truly work everywhere you need them from at home to commuting to working out to staying around the house, for their price you need to get a set for everybody in your family, I know I will be having to get a new set for me!

Lost one of these while doing some yard work and it took me a week to find it with a borrowed metal detector. Yes, it rained and it was muddy but it still sounds great and holds a great charge. Got a cheap / off brand pair for travel when I had lost the one side and can now hear the bass the difference!

This is my first ever pair of wireless earbuds and I'm happy with my choice, thanks to other reviewers leading the way. These produce good sound quality. They're easy to pair (w/Android). They stay charged. They stay securely inside my ear. They even semi-noise cancel when not on. I've only used them for music, I haven't yet learned all the button functions for phone calls and such.

    Jib True? Yes!!

The Jib True wireless earbuds are pretty good for the price range. I like that they are in ear buds, although they are kind of thick and stick out of my ear. I wish they were a bit more unnoticeable, but I don't mind it. The sound quality is average when playing music, because they don't have much depth and sounds a little muffled. I love how long they stay charged, and doesn't take long to charge up. The package is small and compact that I can just put them in my pocket. The package also comes with other sized cushions to fit you ear more comfortably. Overall, I enjoy this product, and would purchase it again.

They sound nice, have long battery life, and pair easily. The battery case thing these companies have going is cool. Their range is problematic though. Like while bicycling they sometimes cut out with my phone in my pocket. I'm not sure if this is something with being outdoors and there being interference out there at times or what but it makes me want to go back to wired. Using with a PC unfortunately exposes obvious latency. Probably around 500ms delay. They only support basic BT SBC encoding. I have not tried using the microphone. The one button on each does allow for various functions like pause, power, skip back/forward. There's a big chart of them all. And they can be used separately. When used together I guess they have a separate connection to each other and one is "master". The phone always sees one device.

Real good headphones with just the right sound quality. Bought these and did not expect them to be great quality for the price. You can use either side individually. I really loved that. Battery is pretty decent at 6 hrs or more. Sound was great too, they have a nice bass and the clarity is good too.

Well I must say these things are tiny but pack a powerful punch. Excellent quality for even better price. The call clarity is amazing. But I mainly love them so I can listen to my favorite tunes. I have owned cheap earbuds and rather expensive ones but these are the best I've owned by far. They are easy to set up and easy to use. If your looking for a great pair of earbuds at a reasonable price I highly recommend these.

I wasn’t sure about these earbuds at first but I came to really enjoy using them. They fit very comfortably in both ears. The sound quality is phenomenal. I do wish the charging cord was longer but that has not stopped me from enjoying using these. The case is compact and fits right in my purse or pocket. What I like to do is wear them while doing my morning and evening exercises. They are quite resistant to sweat. The feature that allows you to accept calls is also a nice bonus. I don’t have to stop what I’m doing to accept phone calls. I would definitely purchase another pair.

You know, these are not bad.... ....and I even like the color. I just wish, overall, that ALL wireless earbuds makers would equip their products with a USB-C cable to charge with. Maybe the good folks (if you’re reading this) at Skullcandy, will be the first Best Buy brand to do that to their products on a permanent basis? Low budget earbuds doesn’t mean they’re low budget technology. Anyway, I’m mainly using these for late night listening, and low volume enjoyment. At peak volume levels, they tend to sound scratchy, but they almost peak at 80-90% volume, and for low budget buds, that’s more than I expected. I was pleasantly surprised with them. And the 2 year geek squad insurance is always a no brainer, btw. Use the best fitting eartips for a good seal and you’re all set. The shape of the design to fit in your ears is small, so people with a smaller set of ears may appreciate these for their compact size. The shape also is sort of interesting, because it almost seems like either bud can fit in either ear, but if you buy them, you can be the judge of that. Sound wise, again, just be mindful of their size... I think with a few more tries and generations of these pass up, budget line earbuds will be the mainstay and better overall sound will be standard on all earbuds, regardless of price. FYI: if your phone is capable, use the home eq settings to adjust your sound preferences. It definitely goes a long way for a better experience. If you all can spare the extra clams, get the Sesh Evo’s - usb C, different eq settings inside the buds, and a bit more user friendly controls in general. But for the money, these earbuds are a decent purchase. I mildly recommend them. Thanks for reading.

Don't look any further. Just buy these. I'm not an audiophile, but these are by far the best pair of earbuds I've owned. They sound great -- hit the bass well and have crystal clear audio. When you're don't listening just pop them in their case and the'll recharge. The case holds 16 hours of charge and the earbuds themselves hold 6 hours -- you get at least a full day of listening. My ears hurt easily and these don't make my ears hurt. I'm very disappointed that I didn't know about these earlier.

I'm not going to lie, I was on the fence about getting air pods because I'm so used to using wired headphones. That, and I was afraid that they could easily fall out of my ears. My old headphones finally gave out, and I decided to cave in. Let me get this out of the way, I have no problems with keeping them in my ears. They fit perfectly in my ears without any hassles. The sound quality is great without being overbearing. I do video editing, and they work perfectly with what I'm working on. I'll sometimes only put one in my ear and still manage. Now, the battery life is somewhat misleading on the box. It says that it can hold 22 hours of battery. That is for the charging case that comes with it. You can have the charging case unplugged and charge the airpods without it, but note, you're going to have to charge the case eventually. The actual headphones themselves can last about 5-6 hours before having to charge them again. They do charge pretty fast however. I do have some gripes about them. Because they are bluetooth, you need to be careful if you're using them on multiple devices. I use them with my phone, laptop, and computer, and it'll connect with any device in the vicinity. I had to change some settings on my devices so it wouldn't it anymore. I also wouldn't say that they're easy to use per se. For just listening to music and adjusting the volume, that's fine. But using them for calls, it takes a while to get used to. There's a couple of button commands that you need to memorize, and sometimes you may accidentally turn them off or do the wrong command. The sound notifications that tell you if they're connected or the battery is about to die are a bit low. The cable that comes with it to charge the carrying case is way too short. Luckily, I have a few longer cables lying around, but I would highly invest in a longer cable depending on your activities. Overall, for the standard Skullcandy airpods, these are worth the price. I'm tempted to buy one of the more expensive models from Skullcandy, not because I dislike the current ones I have, but because I feel more confident in using air pods now.

Easy to use and sound great for the price! They last a good long time, I simply put them back into the case after use for a charge. I end up charging the case about once a week or so. It charges very fast. I use these with my laptop to do web meetings etc. my only complaint is I get minor distortion at times when used for this purpose as it uses a different driver on the laptop for webex etc. vs music. I've never had this happen using the music driver. It may be the drivers on my laptop need updating too. For music the sound is great and full. Definitely recommend especially because of the price. Haven't linked to my phone so I can't comment on that.

Great sound quality for something this cheap. I haven't tried Raycon's or AirPods to compare, but I've always appreciated the deep bass and nose cancellation that is always offered with Skull Candy earbuds. It comes with 3 different size pieces for the earpiece for different ear canal sizes. They're a little bulky in my opinion and can be difficult to pair to different devices on the fly. You'll need to keep the handbook close by for that info. I wish they had an app to connect the device to for pairing and other features.

I have been using the headphones for a few days now. I do like them a lot. I have small ears and have had trouble finding headphones that fit without hurting my ears. These seem to be perfect. Connected easily with my phone. Sound is great. I don't like anything overly loud. Only issue I had was getting used to the controls. That took some practice. Well worth the money.
