Items bass Is very well matched with higher priced skullcandy headphones. The volume is unfortunately not. I don't know if the max volume for these is set at that standard to decrease ear drum damage, or if skullcandy just wanted to make sure they wouldn't get sued over loss of hearing from their product. Overall good Bluetooth in ears with style and sound quality. The in ear design fits to a T (yes the rubber brackets work to help cope with the ears shape), and they stay in place even in the smallest of ear sizes. 8 out of 10 loss of points comes into play from the lack of volume. ALSO I have yet to find the standard set of colored gummies they come with so don't lose them!

I've been a skull candy user for a few years- but was so ready to go wireless! After researching I decided to give these a shot- I'm not disappointed- especially at this price point. I was concerned about the fit because some earbuds get really uncomfortable- I can wear these for a few hours before I start to feel any discomfort- also the kickstand dealio which looked crazy uncomfortable in pictures is really nice and keeps the ear buds in place nicely. The sound quality is nice and what you would expect from this brand- the only reason I did not give 5 stars is because sometimes the Bluetooth connection cuts out momentarily-especially if you are turning your head the to the left (towards the multi function button) nothing so bad that I would return them- but it is something to note. Overall- I love them!

Nothing else compares in the sub $100 category

I've test driven quite a few pair of wireless Bluetooth earbuds before deciding at this price point (sub $100) nothing else comes close to these. Both the JayBird X2 and Dre Beats were nice & had their individual pros/cons but both were also more than twice the cost of these when on sale at $89.99. Big win for me as I'm always looking for a bargain without sacrificing on performance. What ultimately sold me on these were the ambient gel tips which makes these great for outdoor workouts where the others were too dangerous to wear with complete isolation. The most important things for me in wireless buds are, battery life, fit/comfort & sound. I'll rate each of these categories below. Battery life- from a full charge to completely dead I've gotten an average of 4.5 - 5 hours, s little short of the claimed 6 hours however anything more than 4 on a consistent basis is ok for me Fit/Comfort - I initially thought that I wouldn't like the "TripleLock Tech" however it actually locks the buds in place pretty good without much discomfort. I say without much bec after 4+ hours the upper part of my right ear did start to feel uncomfortable from the tab, only my right though. I'd like to see different sizes on future models for those of us with smaller, or in my case one smaller ear, lol. The cord fits equally comfortable hanging in front of my neck and behind Sound - Here's the thing if you like bass heavy then you'll love these as is the case with most SkullCandy products however if you're a pure music lover you may find these a little bass heavy. JayBird X2 had a much better sound quality although for a workout I much rather prefer the bass & ability to crank them up much louder than the X2's. Plus these were 1/2 the cost Sound Part II and honestly one of the best features that sold me on these. The provide both Ambient Gels & StickyGels the biggest problem besides cost with other "higher quality" buds were they were limited to indoor use only due to the great sound isolation. I run a lot outdoors and although I love the ability to crank my music up while indoors it's extremely unsafe to do so while out on the roads & trails. SkullCandy provides the Ambient gel tips OMG how awesome are they, yes you lose all of the bass & isolation but it makes these wearable outdoors. Hey I guess if $ weren't an issue I could have a pair for indoor & a pair for outdoor but thats not the case with me, I need a pair of buds to do it all & these are more than capable.

I bought 3 for Christmas presents, so it helped that they were on sale. My first choice that I found during research and checking where I could buy locally, was sold out. Skull Candy was a brand I had given a maybe. GLAD I bought them!! Good sound quality. Fits nice in the ear and can be worn for long periods of time. I'm not a runner, but they stay in well without slipping.

Not great for extended listening, range is low, and sound is ok as long as you keep them in your ears. Functionality is great actually. Don’t like the nagging of someone telling me the battery is about to die though. Very frustrating but that’s what we are working with these days.

Best sound yet in wireless earbuds. Buds fit snug however there is some discomfort from the stabilizers pressing against the upper ear. Buds can dislodge slightly if you turn your head. Cord can grip along the back of the neck creating pull against the bud which may also lead to dislodging

These are the first Bluetooth ear buds I have owned. I obviously would have liked to purchase the jay birds or beats, but didn't want to spend that kind of money. These seem to work just fine for the price. I do wish they were a little louder, and sometimes they seem to lose their connection or the music goes out. This always seems to be when I am moving my head one way or the other. At first I was bothered by this but they seem to work just fine for the price that I paid.

The headphones have very good sound quality 95% of the time. It will cut in and out even when the music source is nearby. Walk 10 ft away and it drops all together. They stay in your ear while exercising and are great on a run. The controls are simple and work great with my galaxy s6.

    Best Wireless Sports Headphones Period

I have been on a quest for the best sports headphones for at least a year now. I have tried other wired headphones (skullcandy sports chops, apple earbuds, yurbuds) and some wireless (jaybird bluebuds, denon exercise freak). Nothing really worked. The Bluebuds did not stay in my ear despite having good audio/connection quality. The Denons looked like hearing aids and while they sort of stayed in, the audio would constantly cut in and out which was irritating on runs, After all of this nonsense I settled on the Skullcandy Sports Chops. They had the over the ear hook which helped the buds stay in but i noticed that if you sweat alot or run in the rain and the earbuds get wet, they slide right out of your ear. Nevertheless I stuck with them for a good year and a half until the controls on the cord started to die. I read a review of the new Skullcandy XT Frees and was dismissive almost immediately. I thought they wouldnt stay in my ear like the chops and that for the price ($99 regular) it wouldn't hold up to the others on the market. I almost bought the Powerbeats 2s until the reviews said they were not very water/sweatproof, and I am glad i didn't. When the price of the XT Free dropped to $69, i thought it was now worth to try it as I read they have a new "stickier" earbud to stay in your ear. I literally first tried these out on my first marathon in high humidity and heat. Total battery life on constant music play was around 4.5 hours but it probably couldve gone a little longer as i didn;'t let them die and swapped them with my backup apple earbuds. The fit was secure and these never even came loose once during the run. They didn't hurt my ears at all like my yurbuds do after 10 minutes. I've seen some reviews commenting about absurdly high bass levels and such but honestly, they seemed fine to me. Plus, these are workout headphones; most people will be playing something uplifting to motivate them during a workout vs. something an audio purist would be listening to. My search for the perfect wireless sports headphones is over.

I had been looking around for months to get the bass I was looking for it a pair of Bluetooth earphones. First I tried the Jaybird X2's at 180 dollars at the recommendation of the Best Buy rep. He said the X2's had good bass (not!). The 30 dollar Jamz have more. Needless to say I took them back the next day Skullcandy is known for their good sound and bass so I took a chance and tried them boy was I surprised. The base was awesome just what I was looking for for $80 less I think from now on whenever it comes to the earphones it'll be Skullcandy. They are sweat resistant plus they stay in your ears they don't get caught across the back of your neck like some of them do and get pulled out your ears like the 30 dollar jamz when you turn your head while working out. Overall a great set of earphones for wireless Bluetooth and working out with a heavy dose of bass.

The fit of these earphones are very comfortable. The sound quality is great and microphone works very well. Sleek look and water resistant made them even better because I work in construction and they dont get in my way while working. Also great for noise cancellation while using deafening tools.

The sound quality is fantastic for the price and I've completed several 3+ hour runs with these already. When paired with my Apple Watch, it's a perfect lightweight running solution that keeps me grooving and motivated throughout my entire workout.

The sound quality is very good and they get load enough to hear over my motorcycle. The range is short. Sometimes while moving your head the sound will cut in and out. The battery life is about six hours and that's it. The pieces that hold them in your ear work great, but they really start to hurt after a short time. Over all, I would buy this product again for what I need then for they work great. Water proof, sweat proof and good quality.

Bought this a month ago and at first was dissapointed with the sound and how they fit. But after a few weeks of wear the plastic ear piece finally molded to my ear and dramatically improved the sound and comfort

After using these for a while now I have to say that they're pretty solid headphones for the price. They fit very comfortably and I experience very little slippage when at the gym, even when sweating very heavily. Sound is very crisp and clear, with no discernible bias towards either a ton of bass or treble. Only drawback I can find with them is wishing they had better battery life, but that's always a given with any battery powered device. all in all very happy with these.

These ear buds are awesome! Great sound, quick charges, fit in the ears perfectly but the only draw back for me was the ear to ear cable was too short for my thick neck.
