Some noteworthy differences from the Skulpt Aim

I became interested in the Chisel when I heard it was going to have a LiPo battery instead of the NiMh that's in the Aim. I was very interested in a device that would last longer on a charge. I couldn't even get through one full 24-muscle measuring cycle with the Aim, but the Chisel makes it with no problem whatsoever.
I do miss the screen of the Aim, and I'm still adjusting to being tethered to a phone/app when using the Chisel but I'm sure I'll get used to it. With that being said, if I wasn't accustomed to the Aim, I''m sure I would have more quickly gotten into the swing of things with the Chisel.
The Skulpt team had made several updates to the Aim firmware in the year I was using it and I'm sure they'll be doing the same for the Chisel as they keep working hard behind the scenes to get their customers better/quicker measurements. The same can be said for the app, as well. They keep adding things incrementally there, too.

Great at-home body fat measurement tool

I've had the Skulpt Aim and now I have the Chisel as well. It's a great new product. Better battery life but minus the screen, which you don't really need since you take all the measurements with the phone app. Still the best at home device to measure body fat. Takes a little practice, but once you get the hang of it, it's great.

Technical Marvel and Worth the Money

The Skulpt Chisel is a highly well managed tool for monitoring how effective you diet and exercise plan is at building lean muscle groups throughout your body. I think in total it will give information on muscle strength and percentage fat on more than a two dozen of them from your shoulders two your calves. The software is easy to understand; and is updated with some frequency. My unit had to be replaced and it was accomplished in under two weeks and with polite and helpful service on the part of the Skulpt staff. The device provides you a graph of how you have performed in a certain measurement over time which makes long term assessment easy. It is definitely worth the money

Just tried it for a week. I think the idea to keep the cost lower(than the original Aim) is a good idea, and I don't find the lack of display bothers me too much personally since I use it with my mobile phone anyway, with the exception for the guest mode, or if you're a fitness coach working with clients.
I'm not sure if it's the software or hardware, but sometimes it doesn't complete the read. just showing the red light.
Good potential and hopefully it can be improved through software upgrade.

I have been using the Chisel and it's predecessor the Aim for over a year. It is an excellent device that provides hard data that can be used to track progress which allows you to understand the impact your choices and activities are having on your body.

Amazing product helped me figure out why I had been struggling at overhead squats and other exercises. Very helpful shows what muscle groups need attention.

I was so excited to try this product. I almost had a nervous breakdown trying to pair it to my iPhone. After several hours of attempts I finally got it. Then the next morning the connection was gone so I had to reattempt a sync. It was so incredibly frustrating I decided to return the product, it shouldn't be that difficult to pair a device and I have other wireless devices paired with no problem. It may have been a faulty product but was no longer excited to try the product.

Its only works every so often and its not accurate

If you want accurate results this does not cut it. You numbers can vary hugely in the space of 1 minute. That is of course when it actually takes a reading which is once out of maybe every 3 tries when your lucky. Imagine doing your entire body muscle area by muscle area with a device that needs 3 or more tries to get every single measurement. Customer support is non existent the only advice I got was to keep trying because its common for it not to read. I have let 6 other workout buddies and girls try it all with the same exact results. I wanted to like it I really did. What a shame.

This is a same product as a Skulpt minus the display screen. Still works great and does the same great job. Really keeps you in track.
