Reminds us why Craig is one of the best Bonds!

Casino Royale blew everyone out of the water and it looked like Daniel Craig was in route to become the most successful Bond yet. Then, when Quantum of Solace was released, fans were disappointed after high expectations. When Skyfall came out, fans were uncertain when walking into theaters. When they walked out, they were more than satisfied because Craig had made a comeback!! Javier Bardem is one of the series best villains to date, explosive and stylish action, and Adele's Oscar winning opening title theme is just a small handful of things that awaits the viewer in Skyfall.

Fantastic bond film! I consider this to the best bond film as portrayed by Daniel Craig along with casino royale a close second. It is filled with all of the elements of a typical bond film but executed to extreme perfection. It has a very sinister and formidable villain portrayed by Javier bardem who really pushes bond to a place he has never gone before and was one of the best villains in franchise history. Highly recommended!

Great 4K DVD. I just purchased a New Samsung 4K UHD 65" Q90T Q-LED TV and got a Samsung 4K UHD Blu-ray DVD player with a Samsung Q950T Surround Bar System and purchased this 4K UHD Movie as it is one of my many favorites. The ATMOS DTX surround sound and Picture are awesome! Like being in a Movie Theater, especially since theatres have been closed due to COVID-19. The 4K DVD was at a good price too during black Friday sales.

This is a James Bond movie. Its good wholesome entertainment, hot chicks, cars, guns, explosions... The only complaint I have is that this was not a documentary. Wouldn't it be great if this was real life, sure beats a 9-5 at the office. I honestly haven't even watched the movie yet so I'm merely guessing that this would be great in real life. But on the off chance that 007 gets shot or has something bad happen, then I would not want this to be my life and I would settle to be one pf the guys who just gets to play with the gadgets and girls and not get shot. I think that would pretty much ruin your day.

Although my family has rented Skyfall several times, we finally bought the DVD, because the movie is perfect; and perfection is rare, should be rewarded, and relived (in this case vicariously). Skyfall is visually astounding; the plot is clever and surprising; the suspense is pretty much constant and intense; and the casting and acting are spot on. Oh, and there's a perfect balance of humor and drama. We love all of the Daniel Craig Bond movies, but Skyfall is the best. We hope Spectre lives up to the rest of the series.

This film is great. I am a little biased having seen and owning all of the James Bond films, however this one is sure to please all who like action. Craig does a great job again as Bond and Javier Bardem is a great villain. After the lackluster "Quantum of Solace", this film puts Bond back where he belongs, giving us Craig's tough-as-nails Bond while sticking in a few items as an homage to older Bond films. The Blu-Ray does not disappoint with a great video transfer and knock-out audio. Lots of extra content including director's commentary. Easily one of the best Bond films made.

This is the 50th Anniversary of the James Bond experience and it was done in style. The movie's plot was very good with typically fast paced dramatic action. I know that this sounds dry, but I don't want to give too much away. It seems to be the end of one Bond era with hints into the new. Dame Judi Dench as M, the MI6 head, is always fabulous, and she is highlighted here, rightly so. Daniel Craig is one of the best JBs ever, and is beyond credible in action and softer scenes ie., You feel every blow and injury he endures. Fast, gorgeous, hard core spy action. Don't miss this.

I always enjoyed James Bond film but since Roger Moore had found them rather average.I no longer go to a theater for a Bond film but caught this one on cable one night.I found it to be the best of the films in a long time.Great action with an actually story behind it,I guess finding out about James Bond family and history was finally worth showing.Plus I enjoyed the location of filming ,not your typical beach ,warm sunny isle playboy locations. This is the only post Moore Bond film I own and I do collect Steelbooks when possible .

Skyfall is perhaps the perfect Bond film, especially for this decade. Casino Royale was a gritty reboot that is technically a better film, but Skyfall takes elements from that and mixes in some more bombastic pieces from older Bonds. It's the mix of both that gives it staying power. Let's add in that this movie looks incredible in 1080p, has a solid soundtrack, plus has several worthwhile bonus features. And it's definitely worth buying the steelbook, which looks incredible.

If you're reading this, you probably already know how amazing Skyfall is, so I won't go on about it. This exclusive steelbook release was a great find, and has beautiful cover art that would look great in anyone's collection. I was also excited to find that it comes with a good amount of special features, including the director's commentary. The video and audio quality is identical to previous releases, so if you don't own this film yet, or are a fan of beautiful steelbook releases like I am, I'd highly recommend picking this up!

Great movie, and what better way to view in bluray. Compared to the prior movies, Skyfall takes you back to James Bond's home. Although it is eerie looking and kind of reminds me of Harry Potter, the movie plot and the villain was good. The series has taken a serious tone but i like it as spy business is serious business. I liked Pierce Brosnan as 007 also but Daniel Craig is just as good.

My favorite Bond film is still "Goldeneye", but having said that, this film is excellent. We have a development in the "new" Bond's past and character development. I was extremely pleased with the fight choreography, as well as the cinematography of the fights. The film, unlike the last one, kept me engaged for the entire film. My only minor quibble is that the film does have moments where the dialogue lags, and the momentum of the film slows down. But I am intrigued to no end at the potential of what future films will explore in the James Bond legacy.

Hard to go wrong with a James Bond film. But add Blu Ray and very cool steel packaging and its a no brainer. Great action film Some did not like the vulnerable side of Bond that this film exposed but he does come back with a vengeance. I like the grittiness that Daniel Craig brings to the character. I think he adds an element of toughness and rage that has not been present in the other Bonds. He is supposed to be a killer as well as a spy. If you like the Daniel Craig version of Bond you'll love this film.

The third movie with Daniel Craig portraying James Bond, 007. Craig does an excellent job of playing his characters role in todays modern setting. Fast paced movie, with some interesting twists in the plot. I own all of the James Bond DVD's (50th anniversary edition collection) and I believe that Daniel Craig is my favorite actor as James Bond. Buy it, enjoy it, and tell your friends to get one too. You will not be disappointed.

    Truly the Best Bond...

Everyone has an opinion about who is the best Bond and what is the best Bond movie. I am no different... I say that Daniel Craig is the best Bond and Syfall is the best Bond movie, BEFORE there was Bond. Remember, the Daniel Craig series of Bond movies serve as the prequel to Sean, George (I almost forgot him), Roger, Timothy, and Pierce. Yet, this series has clearly redefined the Bond franchise and introduced an entire new audience to the character. There is no doubt that the Oscars awarded to this movie are well deserved.

This 4K UHD release of 2012's Skyfall is a slight upgrade over the near reference level quality of the 2K blu-ray, which is included with digital code. Saturation and details get a boost and while a new Dolby Atmos mix would be most welcomed, the repurposed DTS-HD Master Audio mix is really superb. A great end to the Daniel Craig Judi Dench Bond trilogy.

This is another good, fun Daniel Craig as Bond film. If you haven't seen or heard of this one before, then I guess you're not much of a Bond fan. If you have, no need for me to write a review of the film. If you're missing this one in your collection, grab it. I'd rank Craig as #2, just behind Sean Connery as the best Bond. Roger Moore would be #3. Enjoy!

It's the Bond film we've all been waiting for. After the stunning reinvention of Casino Royale and the misstep that followed with Quantum of Solace, Skyfall feels like a true resurrection of the character and the Bond universe, and an incredible addition to the storied franchise. From its spectacular opening scene in Istanbul to its sensational climax in the Scottish Highlands, the film grabs hold of the audience and never lets go

My grandfather and I have watched his old Bond movies since I was 10, and he's always criticized the "over the top" nature of Pierce Brosnan. "Too many explosions, and the technology concepts are more impossible than they are futuristic." Whether you believe this or not, this must be the best Bond movie yet. It reflects a more simple Bond era, but with an incredibly well-developed story that still keeps you on the edge of your seat.

This BlueRay is worth collecting as the 50 th Anniversary of James Bond movies. turning for a new leaf, M I-6 building got attacked ( never liked the look of that building anyway); M was put on notice to retire and was finally eliminated by the terrorist, in a rather unconvincing plot, with much fireworks which bombed Skyfall off the map, took down helicopter the Bond car and many bodies; rather like a video game on big screen, only saved by the THX sound and good music. one is left asking the question, why retreat to Skyfall, which was Bond's father's estate in Scotland ; without backup from Mi-6? Bond survived, reported to duty and hopes to live another day.
