We purchased this game as a stocking stuffer for our 8yr old boys. They both stated that they have enjoyed playing this version as much, if not more, than their other Skylanders games for the PS3.

for being late in the game series it is excellent. Still fun, can use other skylanders in story, unlike Disney games that only use it in Toybox. Enough changes that its not the same game. good replay value.

My twins love this game!! They love Skylanders in general and all the new guys they can buy is a great way to reward them when they are being really good.

Great game for my 4 y/o. It's a starter pack so it's limited but it's compatible with the other games except superchargers. Heck I play it too.

All of my grandchildren love this addition to the game pieces they already have.....they couldn't stop playing with this all winter break long......

I like this game as it has the ability for younger children to learn. The graphics are great and kids enjoy the characters. A drawback is the game can get expensive when the available pieces are sought by kids.

Bought this for my son's Christmas. He loves playing! If you buy this set, remember to buy extra characters and especially traps!

Brought for a 7 year old who already had the giant Skylanders. Caught the deal for 14.99 comes with the actual game, and the small Skylanders. But any Skylanders can be used on the portal.

My four and fourteen yr old play this together lots of add ins need to be bought to add to experience but overall solid game

With skylanders coming out every year with new levels., and new figures, it's hard to keep track of them all. Still a fun game but be prepared to buy those figured and adventure packs.

Get this game for the kids, is addicting and entertaining. Kids will love it, great for gift for kids age 6 - 15.

We bought this for our 5 year old son. He loves this game and can pay it with little assistance from us.

It's a good game because 2 people can play and there are lots of areas you can explore. The only problem is you can spend a lot of money trying to buy all the characters.
