This was a Christmas present for my six year old son. Already have it on the tablet platform so this was so he could play it on the big screen with two players and not have to buy a new android controller. Additionally the portal plugs in to the ps3 and did not need batteries like the android version. Son was happy as I got to play with him.

Great game at an even better price. My kids LOVE this game!!!!

Bought this for my 5 year old. Surprisingly easy to play. The characters and environments men's are very cartoonish. I was afraid they'd be too scary for him but no complaints. Downside is there are a lot of characters to buy and trap keys to purchase to unlock the entire game.. hence the minus 1 star.

My family absolutely loves this game. On top of that our experience at Best Buy could not have been better. They easily matched a competitors price. All in all a top notch shopping and gaming experience.

I bought it for my niece and nephew , they loved it, its great for reasonable price, nice set includes game.

I have all of the other skylanders, so i had to get this one, thankfully it was on sale (and gamer's club unlocked makes it even better). if you like the previous games, you will like this one,

We recently acquired a PS3 and worried that the characters would not be interchangeable with the ones we purchased for the Wii. Thankfully, we experienced no interruption in our game play. :-)

This game has been fun for me and my daughter. Works well with all our earlier skylanders.

My son absolutely LOVES this game. Be prepared you will be buying additional crystals to trap the "bad guy". You need a crystal for each type of element, IE. water, air, magic...

Bought this as a gift for a young child and he loves it. It works great with all the previous skylanders as well and makes it a lot more fun when playing g multiplayer.

Waited for this to drop down in price and it finally did! Only thing I wish it did was it was backwards compatible all the way to series 1 but otherwise good product but beware - you'll need to buy more trap gems if you wanna "catch them all".

Excellent game for my kids. We already had a lot of skylanders characters and this game was what they wanted. Can't play the newer characters but all the older ones you can. Excellent for the price! Hope best buy has the other starter packs available soon so we can have all the games. Good game play but we do need to find all the trap elements now to trap the villains.

I bought this game for my little cousin as a Christmas gift and he just loved it! He was so excited to play it and just loved the game so much that he went back to Best Buy to purchase for action figures for the game. His younger sister also tends to play the game as well because it was just awesome to see all the toons that you can summon onto the game.

Having six kids its hard to find something we can all get into, but with this game everyone can get their own characters. Even my wife loved it.

My kids love how you can trap different characters and keep them and then play with them and how it follows the skylanders storyline.

I bought the original Skylanders: Spyro's Adventures for my two boys when it launched because the concept of importing various collectible character figurines into the game by placing them on a "portal" seemed pretty cool. Well, apparently millions agreed and the experience has only improved since! My kids insist on getting each new version - Giants, Swap Force and now Trap Team. The Starter Pack is just that. It provides the game disc, usb portal, two Skylanders playable characters and two traps. As in previous iterations, the older characters are playable in the new game, except now players use various elemental traps to capture bad guys, allowing them to use those characters in-game. It's a fun addition to the franchise, including localized sound from the base portal, adding to the illusion that the bad guys are actually trapped inside the accessory. However, sold separately at $5.99 ea the investment can quickly add up for we parents. The good news is that different retailers offer discounts when you purchase multiple accessories at once. This makes for great add-ons when it comes to birthdays and/or holidays. It also gives kids something to buy with their gift cash and cards after the celebration!

Of course bought this for the kids! My 7 year old loves the sky landers and was extremely excited to see the new one this year!

I bought the game for my 9 year old son. However, I selected it because it is an age appropriate game. Too many young children play games rated Mature, which isn't appropriate in my opinion.

Love the game I'm not an avid gamer. 50 words for a review is completely unnecessary. I won't review another item on here again. Waste of time to just state that I like a flipping game.
