The Skylight 27" works perfect as a central hub for family members to check in to review the calendar, add to lists, mark off completed tasks, manage recipes and other family organization applications. Including a way for kids to earn rewards on their own by completing chores and tasks in a fun organized way. The Plus membership and worth the $80 per year investment. It organizes your grocery list by department, helps plan meals from either your own database or theirs, effortlessly add to your calendar by scanning the paper. I can't say enough about this board. I was truly impressed with scanning my chicken-scratch recipe into a legible easy to follow typed recipe anyone can follow and directly add the ingredients to my shopping list.

Amazing, engaging tool for the whole family. The routines and rewards are an extremely helpful way to establish good habits for my kids (6, 8) and the calendar feature in the subscription that allows you to take pictures and it inputs dates is the biggest most helpful timesaver. Expensive, but worth the investment… especially if you’re whole family has ADD and needs some extra cues.

Setting up the review - my wife and I have a 7 year old and a 9 year old. My son is in competitive swimming, practicing 4 days a week with meets, and soccer, practicing 2-3 days a week with games on weekends. My daughter is on 2 lacrosse teams and 2 soccer teams, virtually on the go every day. Between all the practices, school events, and my wife and my own events, calendar management - even with synced and iCals were getting crazy. We were checking our phones every second to make sure we had stuff right. We tried to have a dry-erase calendar as a central location in the kitchen, but that got really annoying to write all these things down - especially if they changed. When we saw advertisements for this product, the idea completely got my interest. I heard from a couple of friends it was a good product, and decided to go for the larger screen due to our desire to mount it on the wall and have an easy to see location each morning of what the day looks like. Setup - hardware: I was very intrigued to see that the installation parts included the right drill bit size to drill holes for mounting. On top of that, it came with a sheet that proved incredibly useful as it had the outlines of the display itself, and it had a trace to understand where the holes go for the mount. I am not a handyman, so having these things helped me gain confidence to drill into the wall After the mount was up, it's a bit higher on the wall and getting the device onto the mount was a bit of a challenge as I was doing it myself. I'm sure with 2 people it would be super easy. To cap off the device, the frame is magnetic, looks polished, and was as simple as placing the frame around the edge of the display. Software Setup: This was probably the only reason I put a 4 instead of a 5. I'm well versed in tech and some of the expectations or settings were a tad confusing at first. I think my biggest unexpected behavior was when I was looking to sync my iCloud family calendars. Although the documentation did help me, and once you do it for 1 calendar it's simple to do it again, initial setup with iCloud took a bit of time. After the initial setup, the other unintended behavior, which may not be Skylight's issue, was the time it took for calendars to sync events, After the initial success, it still took how many minutes before the events showed up on screen itself, so just understand that could be the case. This goes for changes/updates going forward as well. Interestingly enough, if you update the calendar through Skylight, the updates are pretty quick the other direction and show up right away on the calendar. Aside from that quirk, I had one issue come up with changing events from one iCloud calendar to another and not being able to remove the event. Not a big deal as this was only one event. Overall though, it's amazing now having iCal subscriptions from school calendars and iCloud calendars in a large, responsive, good looking screen in the kitchen. We put photos of the kids as a screensaver, and even set a "sleep" schedule overnight when everyone is sleeping. There are also different lists you can maintain, like grocery lists or any other lists you want to make, and we started trying out the chores section - where you an assign routine or tasks for the kids and assign stars that if they complete they will get those stars. It's still early but I'm incredibly happy with the purchase and can't wait to keep learning how it can help manage everyone's crazy schedules!

This was initially something my wife wanted, and I fought against it. But after getting it setup, we've used it nearly every day for scheduling events, tasks, chores, etc. Bonus, we've uploaded a ton of old photos as a screensaver.

The Skylight Calendar Max is definitely big, the 27‑inch screen makes it easy to see schedules from across the room, which is great if you keep it in a busy area like the kitchen. The size is probably one of its biggest selling points, especially for families who need something everyone can quickly glance at. Sharing calendars is pretty smooth, too. It syncs with popular calendar apps, so each family member can add their own events and everything shows up together. It’s convenient and helps keep everyone on the same page, though it’s not perfect and can feel like more tech than some families need. Overall, it’s good if you want a large, visible display and an easy way for everyone in the household to share their schedules—just expect it to be more “helpful” than “amazing.”

I purchased the Skylight Calendar for my daughter who has 3 young teen boys who play sports year round. They're all on different travel teams. All take private lessons for different skills. She & her husband are going non-stop with their sons' schedules. Also her husband is an "excel spreadsheet" man & keeps lists of chores, grocery lists, etc. on the refrigerator. When they got the Skylight Calendar they were able to compile EVERYTHING they have to do on a daily basis on the calendar. My daughter this has been a gamechanger in their everyday life. It's been absolutely amazing!

I love this calendar. It's easy to keep track of everyone's schedules, especially with the color coding. My daughter loves to complete her daily tasks to earn points towards a reward. I also love that it's a digital picture frame. It was easy to install and even came with the drill bit needed fur installation.

I have adhd and this helps with productivity in a major way, the AI is very useful and the ability to have it as a family picture frame is amazing too. I really like the chore functionality and task functionality for kids as well. Every household should have one!

My wife has been wanting the calendar forever and settling for the smaller size was not an option. We finally broke down and decided to purchase one and I am impressed! Not only is it easy to use on the wall, it is even better when on the go using the app! Once we set profiles and got everything set up, we use it everyday! I am a super organized person, but it is difficult to plan when you do not know everyone’s schedule and now I have it with me everywhere I go and anyone in the house can refer to it at anytime. I am actually excited to find out all the other tricks this calendar can do! 10/10! Highly recommend for any family!

What a fantastic device. Not sure how me and my family survived without it. This cooperative scheduling device keeps everything up front and noticeable for all of us. Any of us can update lists and tasks on the go through our mobile devices or on the Skylight itself. The little kids love completing their daily tasks and chores just to see the little reward cascade after they do. We have recommended this to so many of our friends already!

Amazing product! I’ve been thinking about how to make a product like this for years. Now I don’t have to. Yes, it is a little pricey, but it is worth every penny. I had to add a license to our shared calendar to add it, but it works so well.

This calendar has completely negated 3 separate calendars in our house into 1 easy to use calendar. We are able to track our nightly meals, everyone’s extra curricular activities, and school lunch menus in one place. Our kids have also gotten so much more consistent at their morning and evening routines. It is also nice having a central location for our family to add things to a grocery list that i have access to while in the store instead of forgetting a list on the fridge every time. The added benefit of having it be a slideshow screensaver for us to look back at memories is also a huge plus. Needless to say, this calendar has been a game changer for our family.

Love this item. Able to plot out our month so easily for each member of the family. And seeing the pictures throughout the day are a great addition.

I have 4 kids and work full time. My schedule is always busy and everyone has their own thing going on (sports, school activities, playdates, etc.) it helps when u have too much things to remember, its like a weight is lifted off ur shoulders… i can set up chores for my kids to do while im at work and when they get home they can do it, i can monitor everything from my phone and everything is just simplified… lt makes my kids more productive and i dnt always have to tell them to do things because they see it on their chore list… they can also redeem stars for rewards, and meal planning is also easier since it gives me a list i can choose from since i dont always know what to make for meals. I also love the photo screensaver and i love that everyone can have their own profile
