Customers are satisfied with the Shadow Gaming Desktop's performance and its excellent price-to-performance ratio. Many appreciate the easy setup and the included graphics card, which delivers high frame rates in various games. However, some users found the storage capacity to be insufficient and reported issues with the power supply and fan noise in a few instances. The case design and its features were generally well-received.

I used to build these machines when I had the time to hunt for parts, but these days I've grown lazy and decided to just buy one prebuilt.
The only change I made was to install an M.2 drive:
Samsung - 970 EVO Plus 1TB Internal PCI Express 3.0 x4 (NVMe) Solid State Drive with V-NAND Technology
Then using the Microsoft Media Toolkit to create a USB installation of Windows 10, shown here under the "Using the tool to create installation media":
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
This allowed me to install Windows 10 on the M.2 drive and use the SSD drive as a backup/storage drive. This went very smooth.
It might help to know the Motherboard site since I needed to download additional drivers after installing the M.2 drive. Make sure to check the board is the same:
https://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=925#download
As for gaming I have been able to run every game with maxed graphics and I see exceptional frame rates. The only change I made was to install
I ran UserBendmark to see where this machine stands compared to others (https://www.userbenchmark.com/) and the results were very good. I've attached the overall test and for gaming, it shows a score of 92%.
Very happy with the results.

Fantastic Gaming Computer!!!

This is the first gaming computer I bought in almost 20 years. I bought it to be able to stream games like "Among Us" without frame drops. With the GPU's onboard hardware encoder, streaming to services like Twitch is painless.
Since I now had access to a gaming GPU, I also tried a bunch of games on it. Things that were unplayable to me in the past such as Yooka-Laylee, Street Fighter V, and Dolphin run fantastic! It also makes for a snappy development machine.
I'm a bit older so the lights aren't my thing. The tiny button on the top can turn off the CPU light and the larger button can turn off the rest of the lights.
The only thing I miss from using a laptop is how quiet laptops are. Compared to a laptop, this is loud. Think of it being about as loud as a projector fan, XBox 360, or a quiet dishwasher. That is solved easily enough with noise cancelling headphones.
Finally, the two negatives I have on this machine is that it does not come with Bluetooth and the wifi is not set up already. I had to dig through the device manager to figure out what my wifi card even was and then download the driver.
For $1000, this computer is a fantastic deal.

Ordered this last month on the 30th, actually received a notice that it was ready for pickup nearly a week earlier than the expected date which was awesome.
This PC does exactly what I was hoping it would do.. just run my games at ultra/very high settings without tanking in FPS or performance. It did come with a keyboard and mouse but they didn't really blow me away, still using my old ones from my last system.
The only thing this computer was missing was a large storage device, which was easy to install myself. Just added a 2TB SSHD Firecuda from SeaGate in the bay down at bottom of the case. NOTE: You will need to get a SATA cable to install a drive yourself because extra cables weren't provided.
Also when this PC arrived one of the RBG LED fans on the top of the case was VERY noisy, and there was a large scratch on the backside of the tower on the metal panel covering the wire storage/HD storage space. I wrote Skytech an email about it and the very next day they just asked for pictures of the fans so they could determine which size they were, and then shipped out both a replacement panel and a fan immediately.
VERY VERY happy with this purchase and the manufacturer, I have already recommended this among my discord gaming buddies.
(For those who are looking for gaming specifics: I play Ark, Conan Exiles, Fallout 76, Elder Scrolls Online, & Destiny 2 on this machine all at the highest possible settings now)

This is my first gaming PC that I've owned after a friend recommended it to me telling me this prebuilt was great for the price.
It was very easy to set up as it came with a simple 2 page guide and took me less than 20 minutes. They also included guides on how to properly clean your PC and helpful tips on getting rid of storage. And it comes with a form that showed that the PC was properly tested to make sure everything was running correctly before shipping it out.
The design is so sleek. I love how it comes with a magnetic tempered glass door that makes it easy to clean and upgrade new parts for later. The fans are also very quiet. They also included a gaming keyboard that you can change color and mouse.
I'm really loving the performance so far it feels good that I can play with ultra high settings on all my games after I've been playing on low settings all this time.

To be completely honest, my whole review I spent over 15 minutes working on was deleted because Best Buy crashed on the submission page. So I’m going to give the basic shpiell on this computer.
-The build quality was excellent and clean and professional.
-I did the math and it’s actually cheaper to buy this PC prebuilt then build with each individual parts (Due to COVID)
-Each computer has different brands of parts but I happened to get lucky and get all good parts.
Ryzen 3600
Zotac RTX 2060 Super Mini ($420 card)
ADATA GAMMIX DDR4 (2 x 8 gb)
Thermaltake 600 W Plus Certified PSU
Thermaltake H200 with 3 RGB Lights (pretty sick)
Skytech has earned a lifetime customer and would highly recommend them to anyone new to PC gaming or even like experienced PC users who have built their own PCs.

This PC has a great, well balanced set of components; setup was a breeze and the performance at the sub-$1k price point can't be beat.
My unit came with a Gigabyte 2060 Super card, which alone retails for approx. $450
I'll come back and update once I've owned it longer.

This is the best bang for buck because It has a good CPU and a great GPU. I helped him modify it to add more fans and storage. We got lucky before this sold out and the market for PC became more expensive after COVID. My son has used this PC for over a year now. Both as a workstation and gaming station and didn’t face any issues because prebuilts are notorious for hardware and software issues. He says it is a good size and can even play ultra settings on Cyberpunk 2077 and many other games. Even handling CAD programs like Solidworks. A great PC!!!

Excellent value for the price !
High-end design and LED lights.
Great combo Ryzen 5 3600 + RTX 2600 super would run most of recent game with decent or good fps for sure.
Case has a glass door on left side so easy to replace components.
It is a quiet pc so far.
It comes with very basic mouse and keyboard.....
That is only why I minus 1 star from 5...….
So disappointing part... It is worth $1,081 gaming desktop, but they gave me a mouse and a keyboard set that might have been used in 1990s... I guess that is why those are not on the display pictures lol
Desktop by itself definitely worth ! recommended!

First off, design wise, this pc looks fantastic. It has a couple dozen color options, and all are very pleasing. The inside of the pc is also very pretty. Overall very aesthetically pleasing, design gets a 5/5.
The pc looked great fresh out of the box, and setup was relatively painless. I had some issues downloading windows 2004, which lead to issues downloading drivers for the GPU and bios for the motherboard. Eventually, these problems seemed to fix themselves within a couple days. Ever since then, it’s all been smooth sailing.
Performance wise, this pc is FANTASTIC. I play a handful of FPS games that all run smooth as butter on this pc. I play on a 1080p 144hz monitor, and games that i’ve tried out at high to max settings that run without stutter are:
Overwatch
Rainbow Six Seige
Fortnite
Minecraft Java Edition (rtx off)
World of Warcraft
CS:GO
COD Modern Warfare
I also own 3 displays and like to have a couple things open at the same time as any game i happen to be playing, such as netflix or homework, and never have any performance issues or stutter. (i never realized how much i needed 16gb until now lol)
On top of all this, this is a fantastic VR ready pc. I can’t speak for Vive users, but on the Oculus Rift S it’s run everything i’ve thrown at it smoothly with very little stutter, if any at all. Even games that are typically more stutter in general like VRchat and Half Life Alyx ran perfectly fine.
All in all, this is a fantastic prebuilt for 1080p 144hz and vr gaming. I would absolutely recommend that you buy, and that you have as good an experience as i have.

I've bought this computer 3 months ago, my experience so far is amazing. I loved this computer, especially in gaming, programming and working on Adobe products are super smooth. It also comes with a gaming keyboard and a gaming mouse, they are also lightened! I had a couple of questions to the help desk, they have answered all of my questions quickly, provided an excellent service. This is my new favorite computer!

Awesome pc for gaming at that price. At first seeing that i was skeptical cause it was cheaper then my asus gaming laptop wich was 1300 but i went and purchased anyway. So glad i did. No over heating problems. can run games on max settings. I paired it with a lg 240hz monitor just for the heck of it such a great set up. Also comes with cool light up keyboard and mouse wich are also decent. I seen other people say it was a cheap keyboard n mouse. It was a nice keyboard and mouse

This computer is exactly what I wanted. Great gpu, great cpu. Unfortunately im not sure about the rest of the parts. After 3 days I notices while gaming my CPU was running at 80- 90° Celsius.
When I picked up the computer it was not in the skytech box you see people opening on youtube. It was a skytech box, but a brown one with the computer inside protected by a bunch of foam. So my first impression was it was probably a returned computer. No worries tho as long as it worked. I then opened it up and saw that it had a zotac rtx 2060s. Still not a problem because it performed great. Stayed around 70°C and was putting out 144 frames regularly dropping down to 100 or 120 when really working. So not the brand GPU i wanted, not a big deal. At this point still a 5 star computer.
Than i noticed the air coming out of the top felt warm. I downloaded msi afterburner to keep track of gpu and cpu temp and frames. Thats when I noticed the CPU was running hot. Seemed to be throttling back alot jumping from 80 to 90°C. I contacted sky tech and they wanted to send me thermal paste to reapply myself. I told them it was my first pc so they said they would send me a you tube video lol. Yea then he said dont use the computer untill you reapply thermal and he said shipping of the thermal paste may take several weeks.
Lol yeah so I called best buy and they said cpu over heating is not normal and to bring it in and theyll exchange it. That sounds like a way better idea. Sucks all the computers are sold out tho so now im probably out a pc for at least several weeks.

This computer was an absolute nightmare. The computer I received was clearly repackaged and improperly done-so. After further inspection I had realized that the computer had come from a return center in Kentucky. To get the wireless internet for the device to work, I had to open the computer and manually install the Wi-Fi card because someone had forgotten to insert the card into its slot. This was just the beginning though, as after about 2 hours of use, the power supply popped. Oh and on account of the previous owner's improper repackaging, one of the feet of the computer broke off. I already sent it off to be returned.
