I thought this movie was very well done. I got very angry thinking how our system of herding and hurting and abandoning many of our kids and others who have made mistakes. As a mother of sons it was difficult to watch and difficult to sleep after watching. But parents need to see it I think and understand how our kids can get hurt permanently. Even law abiding good well behaved kids have been harmed on a rare occasion in church. Parents and kids should watch it together I think. may start some conversations.

'Sleepers' is one of those films that has stood the test of time. It doesn't matter how many times you've seen this film, it still packs an emotional punch with each and every viewing. The acting is nothing short of fantastic, the story stays with you, long after it's over. All in all, it's one of those films that every film buff should have in its collection. And at this price? It's a great deal.

I love movies! Sleepers is one of my all times favorites. With Kevin Bacon, Brad Pitt, Jason Patrick, Robert DiNiro to name a few. Best Buy has a wonderful selection and has a bargain bin as well. I found this catch on SALE!!

Would you believe when i bought this on DVD years ago you had to play it on one side then flip it over to see the rest of the movie. With this disk better quality and all on one side. YEAH!!

This was a tragic movie with kids having fun, sent to the Detention Home and abused by the guards. They get their revenge in the end through the court.
