If you want to cut the cord and find a service that lets you pick the channels you want and dump the ones you don’t, then SlingTV is the way to go. Easy to set up and easy to use.

I ultimately went with another streaming company because I had specific channels I wanted, but Sling was really easy to use, convenient. I liked the user experience.

Without both internet and TV service due to the cable company missteps, I bought an HD antenna so we could watch network TV until the cable company got their act together. The associate recommended this one. I agree. It was easy to install and provided a great picture. On some channels, every bit as good as the HD picture I receive from cable. The only difficulty of getting this up and running was finding where the channel search was on the TV. Once that was done, everything was great.

I bought the antenna but did not know I had this! I would have checked it out more had I known we got this free for 14 days. The sales person did not tell us about it!

I like sling TV but I like Hulu live better but honestly you can’t go wrong with either of the services there so much better than having bulky cable boxes and high cable bills

This is a good service but it's no cord cutting method. You still need internet from verizon or Xfinity to make this device work, which means, you still need cable.

It’s great that they offer live tv but the price can add up fast once you add additional add ons. The quality is good but not great as far as picture goes in my opinion.

Sling tv is a good idea for someone wanting to cut the cord and pay less for tv service. For what it is though I feel it’s a bit pricey with not all the options I’m looking for. Both of the base packages have channels I’d like. Some of channels I don’t like and the biggest package I just don’t need. I feel there should be a third base package with another set of channels. You will also need internet speeds of at least 6-12 mbps. I will most likely be cancelling after my free 30 days.

Sling offers a lot of programs and movies and has an easy setup and use. The drawback of this fee item is you must use your credit card even to get free time.

I guess its really not all that bad but think there are way better services. If you just want something cheap this will probably work fine for you and simple to use

Do your homework when selecting a Streaming Service. They all have Pro's...and Con's. But all in all, compared to the cost of CABLE or SATELLITE...not bad.

Never got the free trial for Sling TV that supposedly came with my Antenna. My uncle uses it and has said good things so that is reflected in this review.

Overall this service is pretty good for cord cutters. The interface is easy and intuitive and there’s a DVR option. Two downsides are 1) no local broadcast channels in my area, and 2) if you get broadcast channels over the air with an antenna you have to switch back and forth between over the air and streaming. Not a big deal bit it is sloooow ti switch over. Not ideal if you’re trying to switch at the end of one program in time to catch the beginning of another

This is a good service for the money, put the choice of channels isn’t great, and premium channels are more expensive than with other similar services.

Between Sling Tv and Directv, I would probably go with Sling because it's cheaper and you basically get the same channels. Also, I prefer to stream everything so, instead of paying for cable, I would rather spending $20 for all the channels I could possibly want to watch, and stream it over wifi since I have been cutting a lot of cords. If you haven't tried it, it's the same as cable, but over wifi, save yourself some money and stream. It's more convenient and probably less expensive.

Never tried the service before but so far seems like something that might be an alternative to our DirecTV service. Have not made final decision yet.

This is basically another streaming app for channels like FX, Comedy Central, History Channel, etc. Part of the essential package for cord cutting.

I prefer Sony Vue but this is a great option for web-based cable tv — minus the cables and hardware rental fees. More people should know they have this option.

If you are looking to cut the cord, Sling TV is one of the best options available. The prices are reasonable and the channel selection is adequate
