It should go without saying that you should know what you're getting into before buying the Slumber Party Massacre sequels. But, just in case you saw this and thought, "huh?", Scream Factor has finished upgrading the Slumber Party Massacre trilogy DVD from years ago onto Blu-Ray. The first one was released by itself prior to this, and by popular demand, they agreed to put out the second and third films. They aren't what anyone would call "great" movies: II is a bizarre mishmash of slasher movie and Nightmare on Elm Street knockoff, and III is basically a remake of the first film updated for the early 90s. Depending on your tastes, you'll probably like one and hate the other, but Scream Factory went the extra mile and presented the films on their own discs with new extras (and uncut versions, as permitted by reconstructed footage). It's a labor of love for two movies that mayyyybe don't deserve it, but I'm glad they did it anyway.

Carrying over bonus features & adding 2 new cuts, as well as new transfers for Blu-ray, this is a great upgrade for someone who had the previous DVD collection or who never has had this in their collection before (And is interested).

Great set for fans of low budget 80s horror. Both films look fantastic in HD.

Decent horror flicks from the 80's, though the 3rd film was pretty bad.

If you like this kind of movie, it is worth the purchase.

These sequels are ok. It's your typical 80's horror sequels.
