I purchased the white iPad air cover for my iPad Air 2. It fits perfectly and goes well with the gold back and white front. The iPad's magnetic housing attaches firmly and easily to the cover. The cover tends to show dirt because it is white but besides that, an excellent product.

Pros: Easy to carry band use. Helps conserve battery power and life. Cons: Note easy to place on surfaces other that flat or hard top. Camera orientation to the user at the other end is always inverted when the case is used in its normal magnetic hold position located on the left hand side of the screen. The other end of the screen does not cling on the case cover as its not magnetic. Provides partial screen protection.

We were able to price match this item at Costco and saved $20. The case is simple and just protects the front screen. When the case closes the screen, the screen turns off. Nice feature. It can also be maneuvered into different positions to hold the iPad however you would like.

This is the perfect cover for your iPad. It protects the screen and automatically puts your iPad in standby mode when closed. It also adds very little weight and bulk to your iPad.

I really like this case a lot and am very happy with my purchase. It is beautifully constructed out of genuine leather and looks very nice. It provides solid protection but never feels bulky or cumbersome. The only complaint I have is that there is a gap between the iPad screen and the cover of this case when the case is closed. It's a pretty minor complaint and has not caused me any issues, but it's enough to keep this from earning 5 stars. Solid case that perfectly complements the amazing iPad Air.

I love how the smart cover wakes up the iPad when you open it and hibernatesee when you close it. Just be aware it is a screen cover and not a case. This cover offers non protection to the back. If your looking good for that I would recommend getting the smart case.

I bought this for Mom's new iPad. I was initially concerned that it wouldn't hold up to day to day use. I was wrong, this has been a great case for her. It doesn't weigh much but completely covers the device and uses the smart cover technology. I'd definitely recommend it.

Probably overpriced because it's Apple. But it does what it's supposed to. Works with a Zagg screen protector installed too. It's a simple way of protecting the screen if you don't like big cases or folios.

too bad you can only get OEM versions of this device/protector. Works great to protect the screen and shuts off the display somehow when you close the cover. magnetized side bar fixes the cover to the ipad.

It protects the iPad front and back. Feels good in the hands. Does not add bulk to the iPad.

I had an older iPad and used the Smart Cover with that. I also use a Luvvitt padded case which holds accessories. The new Smart Cover works like my old one. I think it makes the iPad easier to handle.

The iPad Air cases work better than the covers to protect the whole iPad, front and back, rather than just the front if it were to get dropped. I purchase them all the time for our work company tools.

The Apple Smart cover does what it needs to do, acts as a stand for viewing videos, reading documents, etc., and provides adequate screen protection.

Of all the multitude of covers, cases and sleeves made by everyone on earth, I have found that none quite match the quality of the Apple branded covers. Now on my fourth iPad, I have tried many different products and always end up back at Apple.

It does what it says, magnetically connects as cover, when closed locks iPad, when removed powers it on. Stand mode is decent but not the as quality of as a cover. Unlike most covers, its not bulky at all, next ipad I get will have one of these as well.

Such a great value for an apple cover HOWEVER I wish the it had a back so you wouldn't scratch. The apple cover that has a back is over double the price. This works great for the screen!

Does what it's supposed to do. Please note that this is just a cover for the screen; not a whole case for iPad. Overpriced but probably not Best Buy's call. Red color was cheaper at the time.

This is a must have for you shiny new iPad air 1/2, official product from Apple is always welcomed. Great texture, highly craftsmanship, but the price is a little bit high, I got this for 9.99$ only, so it's a steal, but at 39.99$, not too bad tho

Unlike other IPad covers it does not make my IPad bulkier, is very convenient to use, and has different position you can set your IPad. BUT don't buy this cover thinking it's going to protect your IPad if you drop it. For that buy an otter box case.

As with the previous Apple Covers, this one is a great edition. The white color hasn't gotten dirty and has been put thru the wringer! The only thing I don't like about the cover (the same with the last version) is the lack of four panels. There are only three which leave a large triangle behind the device when it's folded and not as sturdy of a base as the four panel covers were. Other than that, it's a great addition and a good look on the gold iPad.
