I bought a similar product from Amazon, but this one just looks better and feels better to the touch. The magnets are strong but can sometimes fall off in the iPad stand position.The screen protection is great and the microfiber back keeps it clean.

I bought this cover to go with my Belkin Keyboard. When I am not using the Keyboard and can detach it from the case on the iPad and attach this and have a totally covered iPad that is then and light. I love this cover and how easy it is to prop up the iPad when using on a desk or in your lap to watch movies. What else can I say except that it is a great Apple product but has the Apple cost which is why I am only giving it 4 stars.

The thing that sold me on this case was the weight. It is very light which is a plus when you use an iPad to teach from. I'm not sure how the leather will hold out but so far so good.

Apple's own smart cover has a comfortable feel and works very well when bent back into a triangle to stand the iPad up. Personally, the black version is the only color I thought would go well with a space gray iPad without looking too gaudy or flashy. One star off because it is pricier and the inner side of the cover can pick up lint and dust, which requires more frequent cleaning if you're picky about that.

As previous covers, it works as intended. I have the gold ipad air 2 so it blends nicely with the back. However it is white and will show smudges. Good news is that it cleans easily.

This is a great apple cover to have because its minimal so it lets you still hold the iPad in its original state. It protects the screen but not the back but its still a good cover.

The cover is lightweight and provides great screen protection with sleep function. The stand is great for gripping the iPad and while lounging on sofa.

Couldn't be easier to use or remove. Suede finish protects screen and feels good, too. Cleverly designed...props up the screen when folded to do so.

I have used an original iPad for years. It finally became a problem when some apps would not update, since I could not update the OS any more. Also, I began to run out of memory, and it was heavy. The iPad Air solves all of these. I got maximal memory (128 GB) and both LTE and WiFi, so I hope this will last me another five years or so! Battery life is outstanding (if you remember to CLOSE apps when you are closing the iPad), and it is really light. The visuals are magnificent, as is the camera. I love it (just wish it had not been quite so expensive!)

There was nothing wrong with this but I ended up returning it and getting a smart case. I had one on my previous iPad generation and I prefer having the entire iPad protected.

Does a good job helping you hold on to the tablet and covering the screen but doesn't offer much in the way of protection. Still I like this cover as it doesn't add much bulk.

These smart covers are great! It locks when you close it. The original iPad had four folds and it would stay propped up. This one has three and does not stand up as well.

This case is a beautiful addition to a great product. Lightweight, protective, easy to slip onto the iPad, classy appearance. Highly recommend!

One reason I purchased the iPad Air 2 was for its awesome form factor, so thin and light weight. So I did not want to go bulking it up with a case. The Apple Smart Cover is the perfect solution. Sure there are cheaper alternatives and I've seen some of them, but none have the quality as the apple brand. And no, I am not an Aplple Diehard; I just firmly believe you get what you pay for and this is definitely worth the money.

Great design, specially the improvement in the attachment area, now covered to avoid scratches to the aluminum body. Great feel to the touch.

I ordered this case after my other Apple case messed up. My previous case was the one which stayed on magnetically and only covered the front. I truly like this case better. It protects my iPad front and back better and I feel more secure when I accidentally drop it or bump it on something. Yikes! The stand is very convenient and use it multiple times a day and have had this case almost a year and have not had any issues or problems with construction. I would recommend this case!

As others note in reviews, this new 3-panel design isn't quite as stable as the older 4-panel ones--I think they did this because the Air is narrower than prior iPads. However, my daughter found an approach that helps, especially when using it on your lap. You can fold the Smart Cover in on itself (so the outside cover surface sits on the table, not the inside). Doing it that way, more of the cover is under the iPad, and the magnet is pretty much strong enough to hold it (although it may collapse if you press hard on it or shift around too much). Hope this helps others who are frustrated with the new design!

The case looks and works great. The only consideration is that the case does take up some room on the side so that earbuds don't fit real secure. I just haven't found the right earbuds that work well with the case yet. A great case!

Bought this on clearance at great price. Fits my iPad perfect. Only complaint is sometimes when using as stand it comes off when I move it. Other then that is great.

I love this cover! I pair it with an InCase neoprene sleeve to protect my new iPad Air 2 while in transit. The cover is perfect for typing, reading, watching movies, etc., while not adding bulk or heft to this oh-so-thin iPad.
