    This is a stainless steel gas dryer hose connection. Ensures that it fits the new dryer model and provides a tight connection so no gas leaks out (sometimes you can't smell it) which would be very very bad.

    This connector is great because it also has the excessive flow safety valve that will shut off in case of line rupture. We needed greater than 4 feet and while longer are not common, we finally realized we could simply connect two of these together with a nipple from Lowes which worked great.

    The gas cable was available at Best Buy for purchase and was easy to install. After my plumber extended the gas line, I was able to snap in the connector very easily and test for any leaks. I even tested the so called automatic valve shutoff and it totally works.

    I ASSUME THIS IS WORKING... BECAUSE MY APPLIANCE IS WORKING. THIS WAS INSTALLED BY THE BEST BUY CREW... SO AGAIN, I WILL ASSUME THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING.

    The different drying combinations have added a different dimension to doing laundry. Due to the ventilation hose the dryer sits about a foot from the wall which takes up a lot of space in the laundry room.

    Don't play with your life. Buy a good quality hose/connector, for example this one. with this one I feel safe, not thinking if in 6 months or so I will need to keep checking if got a hole, a lose of gas from my drier connector. Pay a bit more, but is safe.
