    I purchased this at the same time as my washer and dryer, mainly for the convenience of not having to go to another store to purchase one. It is good quality and easy to connect to your gas line and the dryer, but it is a little more expensive than other stores. Bottom line - if you want to save yourself a trip to another store and know that this will work well enough then get it. If you want to save a couple bucks then purchase it somewhere else.

    I was told I HAD to purchase it or the installers would't install the dryer. Guess since the dryer being replaced was OLD.... it was a good thing to have a new gas connector.
