I bought this as a replacement for a dead & leaking old unit. Product was as expected from description. Easy to install (standard fittings, you could probably just attach to existing sink drain but I replaced drain ring and lower fittings with new parts included--don't forget the Plumber's Putty!) Makes a very brief noise when starting, not scary when you read the instructions, which tell you that this is just the blades snapping into position. You won't hear this at all if you are running the water when you start the disposer, which you are supposed to do anyway. Very quiet, though not totally silent (would that even be possible?). I have not tested its full strength yet except for some chicken bones which it handled quite nicely. About the strongest motor available and standard size (should fit into space of your old unit), so if price is right this would probably be a nice step up from your last disposer. PS, I did not attach the included ring of magnets which is supposed to keep flatware from falling into the grinder. There are no small children in the house so considered unnecessary. Works fine without.

Heavy duty disposal at a reasonable price and gets the job done well. Just be aware that although the box says it operates at reduced noise levels, it is still very loud. What I like most about this is the 12 year warranty. My experience with disposals is about a 5-7 year life span so went with this one thinking it would probably go even beyond the 12 years.

This thing is powerful! It chews up anything you throw at it. The magnets in the mouth of the disposal is a great idea. It caught some small spoons and things like that from falling into the garbage disposal a couple times. The rubber strainer let's very little stuff to fall into the disposal, so it makes it a bit easier to remove things you don't want to go into the disposal. But it can be annoying having to remove that strainer Everytime to clear the sink. But here is the important thing. Do not ever turn on the disposal without the strainer or something covering the sink hole. If you don't, the stuff is going to FLY EVERYWHERE.

So far item seems to be working. It’s very quiet so makes me nervous but I’ve had no problems with it. Very tight drain cover so hard to get stuff down the drain.

This product destroys any 'fallout' that might come through the catch-all and gets rid of it, eliminating the usual "stick your hand in there and grab that unknown object." The old one I had (presumably the one that most houses have when they buy new) was only 1/2 HP....this is more than double the power. GO FOR IT.

Does a great job but a little on the larger side. We wanted to upgrade our disposal and thought this would be a good unit. And it is, but it takes up more space than we thought. Other than that, a good product.

Killer disposal and easy to install. But it is huge.

This thing is a BEAST!! It chews up anything you put in it. BE AWARE that it is much larger than my previous Badger. It takes up more space under the sink.

Had my new garbage disposal installed about a week. Very powerful; fits better than my last one under my sink; price is very reasonable and has a 12 year warranty; only con is it makes a loud click if there’s nothing in the disposal when you turn it on. I would recommend it.

This disposal is the quietest one I’ve ever had. Easy to install as well

Fair price. Works well. The splash guard needs more holes, though. Water doesn't pass fast enough through it.
