    The product is exactly as it is intended. It is used for installation of a new dishwasher. I installed my own, as it was more than I wanted to pay for installation. I was able to use existing pieces for the installation, rather than this. If your dishwasher is older, it would make sense to replace existing components with these.

    I have installed several dishwashers and this has to be the best connection kit I have used. The only draw back is the wire nuts are the same low quality found in all kits but I have a supply of good quality Ideal brand wire nuts on hand so not an issue to throw the ones in the kit away. The other items in the kit are high quality!
