What you get is not what is pictured!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The image you see when ordering shows the Y-Splitter as having 2 male and 1 female connection, exactly what I needed. The female connection is what is supposed to connect to your water source. What I actually got is a y-splitter that has 3 male connections. This part, w/ 3 male connections, is what is actually shown on the packaging I received. I had to use the short hose in order to be able to connect everything correctly which was a problem because it added unnecessary length and therefore bulk behind the dryer. In addition, the online image shows the main hose as have a 90 degree connector, again allowing for a tighter fit behind the dryer, but what I received was a straight connector that necessitated extra inches behind the dryer causing my dryer to have to stick out further than my washer. I so carefully measured everything beforehand to make sure everything would fit correctly and by them giving me this wrong kit, it blew that plan. I had to buy an additional separate hose with the 90 degree connector to make it all fit. Best Buy needs to correct the images online or ensure their stock matches the online description. I verified that the part number on the box I received, matches the part number online. This blows.
