I purchased a new gas stove as a Christmas gift for my grandma, as her old one quit working and was falling apart. It was quite the fire hazard. With the stove, I bought this gas line set as well(recommended by the salesperson/computer system), figuring that it would come with multiple attachments to ensure that it would hook up to any size fittings. Having been a manager in a plumbing department for over 2 years, I have a pretty good idea of fitting sizes on these types of gas lines. Well upon delivery of the product(about an hour late), my brother changed the orifices on the stove to accommodate the propane fuel instead of natural gas. When he completed this, he found that the gas lines did not come with a fitting that would work for the stove. So he had to go out and spend an additional 30 dollars to get the right gas line/fittings. Now the fight will begin to figure out compensation for these errors. The reason for not recommending the product isn't because the product is faulty or poor quality. It simply comes down to making sure that it will work with the product you are purchasing beforehand.

Seemed to have done the job an just make sure everything is tight. Comes with all parts an solution to test for gas leaks.

We took a lot of time to carefully research a 30 inch gas slide in stoves. We chose a Frigidaire Professional which has every feature we wanted. Once it was installed the oven did not work at all! There was a loud buzzing and vibration every time the oven was turned on. The knobs on the front of the stove got hot! This was reported to the installers, who were polite & still onsite, they took a video of the sound. We were advised to unplug and not use the stove. When I called Best Buy, I got the runaround. They were going to possibly get me another stove within 2 1/2 weeks. So for 2 1/2 weeks we would have nothing to cook on. As a retired couple we would have to eat out three meals a day for 2 1/2 weeks. That is totally unacceptable! They could not bring back our old stove. They had no option for us except to pick out a different stove or to cancel the order. Being a Total Care Service member we received no special treatment whatsoever. I am canceling the service contract, and we ate returning the stove. My recommendation is do not buy any major appliance from Best Buy. If you have a problem, they will NOT help you. Be aware if you are a Total Service contract member, you will NOT get priority treatment as promised.
