I ordered our range online and Best Buy chose the accessories necessary to install it. Great service!

Did use the hose just the fitting

However the fitting on the line was swapped out. I'm not really sure how to rate as we really didn't use it.

It's a connector

The new flex gas hoses have a safety valve as part of the assembly. If the flow of gas is too high (as from some catastrophic leak from the flexible hose itself or stove gas regulator, etc.) then this safety valve closes and prevents gas from escaping into your kitchen. Some pencil pusher had a really really good idea.
