The attachment was needed for a propane hook-up.

The stove was delivered by Best Buy, but had to be installed by the propane service team. This was a normal procedure, and guaranteed expert installation. This adapter allows the stove to be hooked up in an area where natural gas is not available, and there is no change in the operation or efficiency of the stove. It is part of the best of modern engineering.

Good but expensive

The fitting is quite universal and I believe it could be used to fit any gas ranges. However, I think the price is quite expensive and you can get the same with a much lower price.

Got gas

The delivery/install team brought it with them on install day and all went smoothly. I always think it's safer to purchase all the add-ons you need at the same time that you make the appliance purchase. That way, there is typically no question as to the compatibility of the item with the appliance. All went smoothly and all works great.
